What do you get when you sit Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid) and Toshihiro Nagoshi (Yakuza) in the same room together? You get a fruitful discussion about games. But not just any lot of games -- their games; games they're currently working on and even ones planned for release this year.
Kojima said in Japan's Famitsu magazine (via IGN) that his production company is working on at least three to four titles. It's a nice step up from his statement last month which was at two mystery titles. He could very well be counting Metal Gear Solid Touch in there, referring to one of these games as something that could be released quickly. But it makes you wonder, what are the other two to three titles? With Kojima being an ardent supporter of the PS3 and PSP, often offering high profile MGS exclusives, we're more than willing to go out on a limb that one of these titles will appear on a current PlayStation format. Also, one of these games is planned for release this year.
Turning things over to Nagoshi, he too has something yet unannounced but currently in production. That title, he revealed, is to be announced sometime later this year. Nagoshi, too, like Kojima has put somewhat of a preference on PS3 as of late. Could this new title also appear on the PS3?

I'm surprised they never patched it. For some reason I thought that Kojima said MGS4 would have them at launch, but they never updated it.

If a patch like that ever comes out, I hope it would be retro-active because I worked my ass off getting the Big Boss Emblem.

Saving after every checkpoint shouldn't count. That's what 99% of the people did to get the Big Boss rank.

Imagine if these two collaborated on something. I'd go to Gamestop and plunk down five bucks on the announcement alone.

ZOE3 would be awesome. Second Runner is still one of my top Kojima games ever.

MGS is so good that it doesn't need trophies.

Fair do's, Trophies would be nice, but it certainly doesn't need them.
I'd like to see some Metal Gear Online trophies though.
I've personally played through MGS4 2 or 3 times, then traded it in, so personally they're no good to me now and I'm sure there are many other in the same boat.
They did however say they were releasing Metal Gear Online on it's own, as a stand alone game, now that I would like to get my hands on.
If it ever does appear, I hope it can work without the 5gb install MGS4 had. That install is the main reason I traded it in.
