$19.99? Sony needs to price cap old games. $15 for games a year old, $9.99 for games 2 years old (like this)

Actually this is a remake, so this is a 10+ year old game. It should be $1.00!

Man I wish they would be that stupid.

This game is so good and it is just as good if not beter then the old school ones on NES. If you like this game, buy it. I just wish they had all this stuff for download a year ago, before I bought a zillion games of Amazon. Carrying around UMDs suck!

That's about 10 dollars more than I'd be willing to pay for that.

As much as I want to support downloadable PSP games, 20 bucks is way too much.

Cripes, why are PSP PSN downloads so much sometimes? I really want to buy some of this stuff just to have it, but I can get it so much cheaper in so many places.

I agree, 20 bucks???? Is Sony trying to kill off the PSP? I buy nothing but Japanese games these days as it's obvious the US branch of Sony can not handle anything these days. The PS3 isn't doing very well. They're killing the PSP. Where the holy crap is Bionic Commando? I would pay 20 bucks for this like years ago.

this game is worth every single penny...it's far better than most $40 psp games

this game has amazing graphics...great old school 2d gameplay...and is FREAKING HARD AS HELL...even on novice mode

this is as good a 2D platformer as you'll find on the PSP or pretty much any system

my only complaint is that it is a bit too hard

It does seem like a good deal...if it were a hard-copy retail version. But since this is downloadable, it should be at least $2-3 cheaper.

The problem with the playstation network store
is that they have no incentive to lower their price
there is little overhead that doesn't already exist
and there is no actual physical product of any kind

So they can keep the price at whatever they feel like
if people buy it great if they don't its not really an incentive to move the physical product at a lower price as there is no physical product only a 500mb file on one of probably hundreds of terabyte storage systems.

Barring of course contracts with companies that are currently releasing a physical copy of the game that prevent them from offering a digital copy at a lower price.

Not too long ago I picked it off the shelf at Circuit City for $12.99. I'd look around before you pay $20.

Yeah, while the game is actually quite good (if hard), it hit the bargain bins about a month after it was released.

Speaking of Capcom remakes, they should put up Megaman Maverick Hunter X and Megaman Powered Up on the Store. Not enough people played those games. MHX is still one of my favorite PSP games and I play it pretty frequently.

Hmm.. I actually loved playing the original arcade version. The one on Sega Genesis was pretty difficult but NOTHING compared to the arcade one. I wonder his this game "ultimate" will stack up! None the less... I will most definitely be buying this!

I saw it for $12.99 new at the holidays -- I don't think this will get a lot of DLs.

20 bucks really is too much, especially since it is a classic game. A lot of normal recent psp games like patapon are the same price and you get a hard copy of the game. Sony needs to stop trying to rip us off. If they priced it appropriately they would sell so many more DLs.
