Your guess as good as ours: BlowOut coming to Xbox Originals

I especially enjoyed this gem from an (former?) Xbox MVP:

This game was in the bargain bin for months after release. You can pick up copies for less than a cup of (bad) coffee now... why would anyone pay $15 for a digital version? How does this get the greenlight over quality, top selling titles like Halo 2, or KOTOR? Or "cult classics" like Panzer Dragoon, Chronicles of Riddick, or Prince of Persia? Blowout is an abomination.

I was excited to see Xbox Originals at first, but now it's just a joke. Microsoft, if you're going to do it half-assed, please, don't do it at all.

There is money to be made.

Any shit title that can even bring in a .01% margin for MS will be posted FIRST.

Your big games will be released at key junctures:

a.) slow releases for XBLA
b.) slow game releases
c.) key incrememts in counts (25, 50, 100)
d.) Major releases with history (Halo, Ninja Gaiden, etx)

Just look at the Wii VC. It's been neutered since Nintendo releases WiiWare. Now they provide DOUBLE shit.

The only thing I know about this game is that it was $5 at the store I worked in for summer 2003, and NO ONE bought a single copy.

Hey Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony-- how about online voting for determining the new classic titles?

Just add a voting page somewhere logical (heck, the Wii already even has a voting channel!) with a list of titles. Then let us all vote, and you go try to work out deals to get the top voted games made available. This would be a whole lot easier for you to do if you could go to the companies and say '50,000 people said they want to buy your game on our online store, at zero cost to you. What do you think?'

As it is, the crap Sony and MS are shoveling for the most part thus far is just insulting. For every Halo or Suikoden we get 10 Blowouts or 2Extremes.

You know what would make sense? Making Warrior Within and Two Thrones backwards compatible, or putting them up as Xbox Originals. WHY THE FUCK AREN'T THEY ON THERE!?
