isn't it supposed to evolve to the point where you can design clothes and then import them into Home. That's what I've been hearing everywhere.

Wait so you *can't* use these clothes in Home yet? Then why would I buy it!?! Without that it's a complete waste of money. With it, however, I would certainly buy it, as a high-end department store addon to the Mall.

"In any case, it's currently confusing to think about what dress is trying to achieve and who it's trying to reach. Gamers, Fashionistas?"

Girls, people with flamboyant personalities, Ralph Lauren?

Think also kids and teenagers. Like with Home, the ability to buy whatever clothes you want must be very appealing (and for the awkward or unfortunately appearig, the ability to choose your body and face as well).

But with Home, you also get to have your own place decorated precisely as you please which you can leave whever you want to go out to the mall or movies or arcade or dancing, you name it, without begging your parents for permission and transportation.

I think the grownup-heavy PS3 fanbase doesn't quite get the powerful appeal of all this to the those without cars, jobs, and legal autonomy.

This looks like a colossal waste of time and resources on SONY's part... what's the point of this? Another venue to nickel and dime their way back into profitability, ala Home? The percentage of PS3 owners who would actually want to "play" this has to be ridiculously minuscule. Hopefully this stays in Japan only.

Personally, I can't wait to play so that I can finally build up a cool enough virtual wardrobe to dress my avatar! whooo!! /sacrasm

Sigh. When I heard this was from Japan, the first thing I thought was, "So how can I turn this into porn?"

I think this would be awesome if you can design any type of clothing with any logo in any style. And if you can upload it to your Home avatar. And if Home actually have a fashion week.

I know my gf would use this every day. She loves to design clothes.

I feel like trying to play this just for my own T-Shirts .
maybe this is one of some experiments that PS3 will go beyond the BOY`s toy.

Wow-- my overgrown paperweight has another needless application... that probably won't work.

No thanks, Sony--- EA does a much better job satisfying all my 'Virtual Barbie' needs

But I do have an idea for the next application: 'Distraction'

Go make some f***ing games, SONY!!!
