I'll buy it if it comes out in North America.

Has there been speculation on price? Is the price known for the Pikmin re-make? I really don't want to drop $50 on a game that I can get for $5 on Gamecube...

Now, if it's Metroid Prime 1 and 2 on the same disc, that I'd probably pay $50 for...

I am sick of this, another remake with wii controls tacked on rather then a new game. Resident evil, zelda, now this, sick of this shit.

Gotta agree with you there... Until the part about Zelda. To me, Twilight Princess felt more natural on the Wii than on GC.
Forget about motion controls being the gimmick. Seems as though Wii is fast becoming the console for people to "see what they've missed", so to speak.
VC was the beginning
Now there's "Play on Wii"

I've been a Nintendo fan for 24 YEARS. I already have most of the "good" games they're re-releasing. Nothing's new anymore, so basically I've stopped spending money on games all together. If anything new (or semi-new) comes out I borrow it from somebody.

One of the only games that could make me break my rule about not buying the same game twice

I would re-buy this game even if they re-released it with a $100 price tag.

Waiting on MP2. Just to bridge the gap to MP3, so I can buy it without guilty.

*cough* Kojima, if you don't want to release the MGS trilogy on Wii, how about at least porting Twin Snakes? Improve graphics, first person controls, widescreen...

As soon as this comes to the States, I'm going down to Game Stop and buying it. Here's to hoping they release MP and MP2 at the same time, or at least really close to each other.

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! Please let this be true. I turned my nose up at MP when it came out for Gamecube because of it's change from the series to a FPS. I've since seen and sampled a little MP3:Corruption at my bro-in-law's house with the Wii controller and like the combination. The difference in control is what attracts me to these. At the $30 or under price point, these will be a day 1 buy for me.

This one game made a Gamecube purchase worth every penny. So yea, I'll probably buy it again.

I Would Buy Metroid Prime, Even If It Is A Remake
If That Game Is As Good I Heard
Then On Wii It Should Be Even Better

Cool for people who don't have it yet but I have the gamecube version. How about a NEW metroid, not a prime, but a metroid.
