What I always liked about F.E.A.R is that the enemies seem to have 100 gallons of blood in their bodies...lol.

I may try the demo, but it's going to have to really impress me to think about picking it up. I just wasn't that enamored with the first one. However, it was intriguing enough to not sour me on the franchise.

Same here.

The first one kind of annoyed because unlike, say Dead Space, the horror and combat was kept completely seperate.

You would literally have scary sequence, tactical slo-mo shootout, scary sequence, slo-mo shootout, rinse and repeat. So in the scary bits you knew that there was unlikely to be any actual danger. Nothing is hiding in the shadows, it's all just scripted crap designed to scare you, like a Haunted House.

The environments were also annoyingly repetitive.

What is it with all the hot scary chicks? Both L4D's Witch and FEAR's Alma give me a boner.

She projects herself as a young girl, but was 25 or 26 when she died.

1998 - Alma is born.
2005 - Alma, aged seven, is placed into the vault, 2 days before her eigth birthday. They begin developing a suitable embryo from her genetic material.
2011 - Alma, aged 14 is impregnated with the embryo, and placed back in the vault in an induced coma while the embryo naturally gestates.
2011 (or 2012) - Alma is taken out of the vault again, gives birth to the Point Man, and taken back to the vault.
2012 - Alma is impregnated with the second prototype, Fettel, and again placed in the vault in an induced coma whilst the baby is brought to term.
2012 (or 2013) - Fettel is born, Alma, presumably aged 15 or 16 is placed back in the vault where she remains for the rest of her life.
2022 (or 2023) - Alma and Fettel have a synchronisity event, Fettel is aged 10, alma is aged 25, or 26.
2022 - Due to the synchronisity event, they pull the plug on Alma, 6 days later, aged 25 or 26, Alma 'dies.'

Really enjoyed the first game, but the weapon movement was irritating, and the screen movement wasn't very smooth. Also, the levels structure got repetitive. The voice acting was well done, well above the video game norm. Looking forward to trying this out. Kind of wished it was out for everyone yesterday.

Nope, but people buy sequels so they decided to pretend there was.

A demo? Oh FUCK yes!

T'will make the wait for the game itself that much easier...

I hope if it's the demo that's been lurking on various video sites for a while now, it's as long as it was, that whopping 15-20 minutes.
