Rock Band Weekly: Steve Miller Band, Rob Zombie, Godsmack and more

Harmonix just released a list of next week's Rock Band downloadable content and be warned, it's a musical mix that's full of variety. Listed below are all eight Rock Band tracks that'll be releasing to the XBLM on Tuesday, January 20th for 160 Microsoft points apiece. Take note of the Steve Miller Band's "Joker". It's a good tune.

Well personally I like the Steve Miller Band and am buying The Joker right away.

Actually all 3 SMB tracks are solid. I'm hoping it's a 3 pack with a tiny discount.

Even though I have The Joker in GHWT, I'll for sure be picking up the 3 pack of Steve Miller next week.

Definitely looking forward to SMB, but also pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of Mute Math. Hopefully the chart is good...

Too bad the Typical is the lone song from Mute Math. Would have liked to seen a Typical/Chaos/Break The Same 3-pack.

If RB2 would send links to the music videos or clips of the songs with these press release announcements it'd make it easier for me to get excited. I don't know half those bands and half the bands I do know I don't know those songs. But I'm in for the SMB pack and the Belly song.

I can do it myself, and I know of several ways of doing it. But it would be easier for me if links were included - and may encourage me to try bands / songs I've never heard of. And the Wii sister site is doing it that way now...

...so here's hoping we get that over here too. And that someone is doing it that has a financial stake in selling songs and not the fine folks running this site.

but why aren't the wireless instruments in the UK yet??

all these tracks building up.. we've have the solus disc since november.. but nothing at all about the 2nd gen instruments...

Rockband needs tons of Metalcore

I am stoked about Mute Math, but I gotta say I'm thinkin Godsmack may be fun......Never know...Crappy band could equal awesome chart on drums!

ugh. I hate when they pick the songs I hate from a band I like (godsmack and rob zombie).
Well looks like a SMB 3 pack for me this week

Def getting SMB, and Godsmack....but man, would it have killed them to included either "Voodoo", or "Awake"??
