Killzone 2 reviewed in this month's OPM UK

Looking to find out the real scoop on Killzone 2? It'll be a little while before our review is up, but the UK won't have to wait that long. The first UK magazine review will be revealed in the next issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine, which will be on shelves on Tuesday, January the 20th. That's tomorrow, in case you're wondering.

To make the event even more special the magazine will come in a "highly collectible" holographic wallet, complete with a Helghast trooper which changes color as it catches the light. That should tide you over until Killzone 2's release on February 27th, right? If not, don't forget the demo will be out shortly before then.

got it today, was well up for the wallet, wasn't in any of them so what was this whole wallet thing about?

i find UK opm weird, will rate some weird games 10 then be really critical on the first party games

It's actually only out of 10. They gave it 9/10. So for all we know they thought it was a 99/100. Metacritic don't show 10's or A's. It's always out of a 100.

Amazon is still not promising release date delivery of this. I may have to go to Best Buy bleh :P

i still dont know who is worse Best Buy or Gamestop.
Best buy pulls a lot of scams (HD calibration fee, back up fee, we'll install your console game fee) idk how they are allowed to continue business (check consumerist.com for examples)
GameStop however just tries to get you to preorder, buy accessories, and high turn arounds on used games.
only sometimes shady (buying stolen used games)
I would rather just buy from walmart if i can't wait for amazon (or keep it from gamefly for real cheap)

Also, if you got a Blockbuster near you, you may be able to preorder through them. I just found that out at the one near me.
I am getting this game at walmart because I got a gift card for it. Otherwise I prefer Target.

Wal-Mart is just as bad...

They "get away with it" because it's BS they sell to consumers who don't know any better. You don't have to buy $70 Monster cables or reserve any games if you don't want to. I'm glad we have these stores so that I can walk into a mall and get what I want.

What the hell is wrong with that review? I'm still on page one, most of which is covered by a screenshot and already found 'whore', 'sex' and 'sh*thole' in the text. Is that 4chan or is it an official PS Magazine?

Waldenbooks Had this MAG. Withough the HOLOGraphic stuff. I looked through it as my Girlfriend scanned the clearance bin for medical books and or an agenda for school. I did think about buying it but then i saw it was $7.99 too much $$ for a regular magazine.

someone on my friends list is already playing it. Said he has the press kit version and he gave it a 9/10 so far from what he's played.

Im waiting for the glitches review or the "online lag ruins the game". I think i have too much fps last year so im going to worry more about the stability of the game online... i just hope they dont resize the quality for the online play or to be as laggy as little big planet or as dumb as haze...dunno waiting for my reviews

As far as rating game content goes, the UK has the upper hand, but that's just about it I'm afraid.

9/10 is not bad at all...though I did expect an official console mag to give a 10...I respect their honesty...The biggest dissapointment apparently is the Finale so we'll see what American reviewers think about the game
