Mini Ninjas is the next title from Io Interactive (Hitman series, Kane And Lynch) and, as you can see from the announcement trailer above, looks very different to anything they've done before. The game will be available this Fall on the PS3 as well as pretty much every other platform that exists ... except the PSP. The game focuses around the eponymous Mini Ninjas as they fight off evil mini (and not-so-mini) Samurai.
You'll be playing Hiro, the mini hero, armed with your ninja magic and helped out by a couple of ninja friends "as you travel through a perilous world to reach the final confrontation with the Evil Samurai Warlord in his Fortress of Doom." From the sounds of it the story isn't going to be much of a selling point, but we're loving what we've seen from the video and the screenshots (check out the gallery below).
In terms of art style alone, Mini Ninjas looks adorable. Hopefully the gameplay lives up to it. We're looking forward to seeing more throughout the year.

i see a cgi and im not into the game, i see the name Kane And Lynch and im kind of scared of this game. So... bring it fall next year along with ff13 i dont care ( show me some gameplay and i might think about it).

It looks really cute and seems like the gameplay should live up to what the video shows. Io struck out with Kane & Lynch (could've been eons better than what it was) so hopefully they get it right with Mini Ninjas. Additionally, I thought Freedom Fighters 2 was in the works?

This game good be good just because if any of yall played that ninja game Ninja: Shadow of the Darkness on Playstation it was definately a good quality game. It was made by Eidos a while back and it was great. Hopefully this game is good but only time will tell.

Isn't the plural word for ninja still ninja? As in "look at those 3 ninja over there"? That and the panda thing make this game instantly fail in my book. Might as well be ninjabread man 2.

I remember seeing a game much like this a while back on the xbox i believe. The art style seems like its going to be the exact same
