No Gravity: The Plague of Mind rated by ESRB

Looks like No Gravity: The Plague of Mind is finally getting ready for a US release. This downloadable shooter was originally a homebrew game. Its incredible production values drew quite a bit of attention -- a PlayStation Network version was announced shortly after the introduction of the PlayStation Store for PSP.

The title will be rated E10+ for everyone ages 10 and older. No other release info was included in the ESRB listing.

I hope (a long shot) that this becomes some sort of an accepting new trend that Sony adopts to help foster a link between the incredibly talented homebrew community and the PSN.

The game was finished ages ago. It has been in Sony's hands since early September 2008 (4 months ago). I actually submitted this info to pspfanboy with the news tips feature, but I never got a response.

The game has been sent to Sony Europe in early September, and it still under review for Quality Assurance tests.

It's still on QA tests.

EDIT: 26 dec 2008: The game has been rated by PEGI and ESRB for Europe and USA - the process took some times. We are sending the final master disc for early January 2009; after about 3 months of QA.

We are really confident that the game will be approved soon and available to download in Q1 2009
