This was one of my favorite adventure games ever...ranked up there with Full Throtle and Grim Fandango. Different becuase not humerous, but a great adventure game and a great foray in to the world of the movie for any fans.

Blade Runner is a great game and I'd love to see more classic adventure games on the Wii - titles like Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis, The Secret of Monkey Island, Beneath a Steel Sky, Full Throttle, etc. There are literally dozens of fantastic old adventure games from companies like Lucasarts and Sierra that could be easily ported over to the Wii. After all, you can run them via the homebrew channel in ScummVM, but you difficult would it be to make them available as Wiiware or Virtual Console downloads? I'd bet they'd do well as a disc release or a DS cart too. All the Lucasarts adventure games on one disc? I'd buy it.

I'd much rather see Nintendo publish a collection like that than some of the shovelware that fills the release schedules. It'd certainly help build the Wii's catalogue of 'hardcore' games, as well as being accessible enough to casual gamers.

C'mon Nintendo/Lucasarts/Sierra et all. Most of the hard work's done for you. Just pick the best looking versions (usually the Amiga or PC version) and port it over. You'd be able to do it in a relatively short timeframe, make a packet and let millions of people discover some brilliant games for the first time. What do you have to lose?

You can already get this on your DS if you have a flashcart (R4, M3, Cyclo,...) using the SCUMMV emulator can't you?
