Nintendo has a lot of franchises to draw from. They're continuing to pump out those Pokemans, gave us a new Zelda game last year and a new Super Mario Bros. game before that. So what's next for them? We think it's high time we got an Elite Beat Agents 2 already, but what about you all? What's the next major Nintendo game you want to hear about?

I really want another EBA.
But I think I want Super Smash Bros for the DS even more.

EBA 2 and Layton 2 all the way. What I really want though is just new and original titles that draw me in like TWEWY did. Maybe a true new Star Fox game without all the strategy elements as well.

Id like a more traditional Zelda game, I couldnt really get into PH. They might be able to pull off a 3D one, they did with the Mario 64 port.

Something new?
Maybe?
"Magical Starsign" was one of the best DS games I've ever played. And it wasn't a sequel to anything (well, it technically was, but you know what I mean).

I'd love a new Metroid but I can't shake the feeling that we're in the midst of another "ice age" like the one between Super Metroid and Metroid Prime.

Same here. I'd love to see Metroid Dread come back from the dead. That, and/or a straight port of Super Metroid to the DS (this seems more likely given the treatment Kirby Superstar received). A full remake of Metroid 2 for the DS would be pretty cool as well, especially if it could link up with Metroid Fusion or Zero Mission to add new items or the ability to play using suits from those other games (the DSi could just unlock those by default or have its own special addition). That way, all the 2D Metroid games could be played on the same system and be portable. Anything 2D Metroid would be fine with me. Just so long as it's not another FPS Metroid.

A Metroid II remake sounds good but I'm pretty sure we won't see a Super Metroid DS port since it's already on VC. Just like how we'll never see Kirby Superstar or Chrono Trigger on VC now that they're on DS. And while I'm a huge fan of the Prime trilogy, I'm mainly hoping for Metroid 5 aka a 2d sequel to Fusion.

Smash Bros. Brawl for the DS.
LOL.
Seriously, another platformer would be welcomed (except Kirby, he already has three).
I would love for Nintendo publish a localized version of Densetsu no Stafi.
Peace.

How about a Mario game with a GD 2-player mode that's not just some versus game tossed in as an afterthought?

A compilation of mother 1,2,and 3 for the DS ftw
But Mother 1 should be tweaked a bit (Have the visuals of earthbound and be a bit easier.....and no random battles)
That would be epic.

How about a new DS Fire Emblem? Porting the first one is nice, but come on: let's get our strategy on!

Another Metroid, but only if they did security measures to make it more impervious to hackers during online play, because that's what ruined a perfectly good game the first time around.
Maybe make it only playable on a DSi and add security or something, I know most of the people on this site pirate their games, but at least I would like to have a little while where I could play fair on it.
Seriously.

Oh, and I just realized... This is probably Camelot's domain, but we *need* a Golden Sun 3.

I see. Well, I wouldn't have anyone but Camelot develop it and have Motoi Sakuraba do the music.

- Starfox 64 2 (we've been waiting more than 10 years for this, isn't it about time already? Is it really that hard for them to get the message that people want a *real* StarFox?), but this time the characters shouldn't be able to talk.
- New Mario 2 (And make sure it's produced by Miyamoto, not that new guy that's been ruining the 3D Marios, and put in a sensible save system this time)
- Metroid Dread (That would help make up for Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime 3)
- Online-Multiplayer FZero (But with the metal music and death-race-mode of FZero X, not the electronic music and lack-of-death-race-mode of FZero GX).
- Pikmin 3 (But without the blurriness, product placement, and cave levels)
- A request to Konami to start putting the Metroidvanias and Contra (including Contra 4) on the Wii. Same thing for Sega and Sonic Rush (but without the "Adventure" part this time.)
- A 2D Zelda that doesn't isn't mediocre like Phantom Hourglass.
- A 3D Zelda that has less generic visual style and less non-epic/ocarina-rehash feel than Twilight Princess.
- A 2D SNES-style Kid Ikarus.
- Firing of anyone in charge of diverting resources to crap like Wii Fit, Wii Music, Nintendogs, and Brain Age.
And most importantly, Wii-ports of *everything*, especially 2D games. Sometimes (*cough* always *cough*) I'd rather just play on a real TV instead of a tiny handheld screen with a bar in the middle.

Or at least they need to give Miyamoto the right amounts of drugs and/or alcohol that made him dream up Itallian plumbers who fight giant turtles and a little kid who has to save a princess over and over and over again forever and ever.

Kid Icarus would be pretty sweet, and a new, original Fire Emblem would make my year... But really, I just want them to release Layton 2 already. I'm debating whether or not just to order the Japanese one...
Starfox and Zelda are always fun too. :D

A new character driven franchise would be awesome, especially if the main character wasn't a mute. Silent protagonists suck!

Gimme some Mother
more metroid (3-D)

It's time for an F-Zero for the DS. Seriously. I could care less about the Wii, I just want some new classic F-Zero action.
If Nintendo pulled off an Ocarina of Time remake for the DS with the quality of Super Mario 64, I would never buy a system from another company again.
Of course, I'd also like to see a new Shantae game from WayForward. Those people know how to push a system to its limits.
Oh, and another Hotel Dusk-like mystery story. That game was awesome.
For the Wii, I think the most logical thing for Nintendo to do is Punch-Out!! (Owait), Mario Party 9, and maybe a few decent action games. I'd sure like to see a Metroid game made in the vein of Wario Land: Shake It! or even Mega Man 9 - 2D pixel-art graphics and classic side-scrolling shooter action.

im agreeing with most people on an all new METROID made in 2d. i would line up for that one without question. if they made it gorgeous, well animated, and HUGE! with tons of unlockables (weapons, armor, etc..) it could be the reason not to put down my ds, and to neglect school once again. oh, and NEW SUPER MARIO BROS 2 would be sweet as well. a new ZELDA is always welcome, no matter what people say. though i wasnt as big on PA as most people, maybe something without gimmicks, maybe if they stuck closer to their roots. just because its the ds, doesnt mean they cant stick to the tried and true of the game being just plain fun. Also, some new IP's would be very welcome, just not cheezy stuff like TWEWY, i just couldnt get into that. though i do welcome a good rpg for the ds. sorry for not cutting it short.
