Obama inauguration takes the Spotlight on Xbox Live

Log into Xbox Live tonight and the first thing you'll see is ... a photo of President Obama from today's inauguration. Indeed, the spotlight of the Spotlight channel is today's ceremony, including video of Obama and Vice President Joe Biden being sworn into office, the 44th President's inaugural speech and more.
Even the Movies and TV Shows categories have taken on the theme, featuring the likes of The West Wing and -- wait a second -- Mars Attacks? Yes, the Tim Burton camp-fest is inexplicably among the inaugural offerings. In any event, it makes sense that Microsoft would make a rather big deal about today's momentous occasion, having already urged users to Rock the Vote and conducted an informal election survey last fall (which now-President Obama and his running mate handily won).

I am not going to get into the political arguments that you guys have started, but I have to comment on something that disgusts me.
When I saw PSN: Aggie_CEO's post where he more or less calls a person racist over a kool-aid comment, that every one of us knows is regarding the Jonestown suicides, and has nothing to do with him being black, I think more people should say something. Its a long time analogy that we have all seen and used for years.
It's a shame that a man has to make something about him, and call someone a racist, when they used a comment that is used in posts on 100's of issues around here and has nothing to do with race. It's used in 100's of threads that PSN:Aggie_CEO wasn't even a commenter on. Yet now, it becomes about race when that is a convenient way to slander someone because you don't care for their politics.
You all know, no matter what your political beliefs, that there was no racist comment made in that, and PSN: Aggie_CEO's comment back was shameless and pathetic. I am shocked that more people are not bothered by his slanderous tone against someone when I am sure he knew that he was making a false accusation.

- Nominated Hillary Clinton for Sec. of State after trashing her qualifications for any such position for months; questions about this smugly shrugged off. Note she also has serious conflicts of interest.
- Nominated a guy for Treasury secretary who doesn't pay his taxes and employs illegal immigrants
- Nominated a guy to head the CIA who has no experience in any field remotely related - even Queen Pelosi bitched about this one
- Obama tied to Blagojevich scandal, but pre-emptively cleared by the Associated Press

The broken promises? Little stuff like promising to shut Guantamo (turns out it's "more complicated" than "some people" think - guess he can't just say he was wrong); keeping Gates around; supporting FISA; keeping the Bush tax cuts ... and on.
And yeah, what ties would a person have to a racist pastor he listened to for 20 years? A guy he said he could no more disown the man than he could disown the black community.
