Video: When Halo 3 met Fallout 3

The charming video which you'll find just below the break is an expert blending of Halo 3 and Fallout 3 and it holds within it two very basic truths. One: It's fine for Fallout, but Halo probably wouldn't be better if it stopped every 10 seconds to let you select which body part to aim for.

The second truth? Apologies to Marty O'Donnell, but Halo would be much, much better if set to the melodious vocal stylings of Roy Brown. Sorry if that's hard for you to hear.

This would be dreadful in Multiplayer...someone could just come up behind you and assassinate you while you were choosing a piece to hit on someone else.

In fallout 3, doesn't it pause everything? It could do that in this as well.

pausing it every time someone wanted to use the vats system? god, a 5 minute game would end up taking hours.

erm, it pauses everything, and a pause in an online game would be impossible because everyone would have to pause at the same time, or you would have to have the ability to ALTER TIME.

Heh, nice. There's a great vid by machinima that puts a Spore creature in Fallout 3, it's very AO and most def'ly NSFW but any fan of Fallout 3 should get a laugh from it

I was playing Fallout3 last night and got the Bloody Mess perk.
Then i shot someone in the face.

It was a good night.
