Wheelman delayed, demo due before release
Midway's gasoline-guzzling Vin Diesel vehicle, Wheelman, has been delayed, thus becoming the victim of insufferable motor-related phrases like "it stalled," "it swerved" and the somewhat esoteric "it pulled a Mika Hakkinen." Regardless, the information being conveyed here is that Midway has pushed Wheelman's release back to March 20th, but has also promised to release a demo on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime before then. Assuming the company's still around.
A PC demo for the cinematic drive-em-up is also planned, though Midway couldn't say whether it would hit hard drives before the gamecars ships.

The game doesn't look that interesting sadly.
Btw not to be an Ass Joystiq but I change my avatar on December 24 and my old avatar still pops up most of the time.

Dude, get a life. Joystiq or its staff are not your personal butler, and I think they probably couldn't give 2 shits about your avatar.

Not too optimistic on this one, but I'll definitely play the demo

I'll go one further, when this game releases it's going to "crash and burn". This is going to be one of the last "pit stops" on the road to Midway's demise.

1. Looks terrible
2. Wasnt the movie cancelled? A movie tie in game with no movie = fail.
3. I love The Fast And The Furious and xXx, but this looks awful.

You know what, as terrible as this game looks, if it meant saving Midway, I'd buy it.

I guess I would do that too if the game happens to be acceptable between 6.5 and 7.5-

I'll be the anti-hater here and say this game looks interesting since I like arcadey driving games. I'm glad they are taking time to put more polish on the game instead of rushing it out the door. (Also I don't get off on seeing companies go under. Is that weird?)
