DS Daily: Where in the World ...

... has your DS been?

Your DS likes to travel, you know! It enjoys seeing new cultures, and meeting new people. We know because it told us.

So today's question: where in the World have you taken your DS? Has anybody's handheld travelled with them to all seven continents? Well, okay, Antarctica is probably a tricky one, but ... has your portable seen the other six? If so, it's seen more of this planet than us!

my DS has seen a good number of the states(30ish) and a bit of europe(london,scotland,italy,greece,turkey)...not even close to all 6 continents but it's something

Probably WAAAAAY less then Bob (who's an Elephant) , but mine has seen England, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Holland, France and Germany.

Last time I was in the USA, DS didn't even exist.

Mine's been to Japan and on a tour of about seven or eight of the Western United States.

Just got my DS [Lite] this Christmas, and it's already been to New York (I think, along with the stops along the way, including Ohio, IIRC), and is set to head of to Washington. Not with me, mind, but still.

Now, my GBC and GBAs (1 norm, 3 SPs ("SPee"s)), that's prolly more prolific, since there have been vacations (did I take it on those school trips to St. Louis and Gatlinburg (which was SUPPOSED to've been DC, but it was the schoolyear of 9/11, so... yeah, my reason to hate terrorists).

Well, I play the fiddle for a country-pop band called, Rascal Flatts. No, I am not one of the Rascal Flatts artists. I am just hired by them to play the fiddle in their band.

Needless to say, I travel all over. My DS Lite spends most of it's time on a tour bus. It has been to all 48 states within the continental US. It has been all over Canada.

In regards to outside of North America, my DS Lite has journeyed to England, France, Ireland, Germany, and Switzerland. It may be traveling to Australia and Japan within a few months.

Wow, 48 states! That is an exceedingly well-traveled DS!

Not one single DS but overall.
France, Germany, the Czech republic, England, wales, Japan, Croatia and briefly Poland.

Mine has only seen my home state and Japan.

England, France, and Nigeria.

And I love that movie.

Damn right! One of my faves.

My DS has seen California (since that's where I got it), but has also been to Taiwan, Japan, China, Korea, Nevada, New York, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, along with stopover in Texas.

I wonder how this kid will feel about all these great places when he is grown up. Will he even remember them?

Took mine with me to Paris and Rome. It was before Picross was out in the US, and I bought a copy in Rome, and have played it a ton since then. The game cases are a bit bigger.

It's not really a different game, I'm just jazzed to have an import. ;)

I bought my DS in Malaysia (2008/06), and it has been to Thailand, France and The Netherlands.

My DS has seen Barbados, England and a bunch of states (mostly eastern seaboard between Mass and Virginia and a few scattered other ones, e.g. LA and KS).

Mine's been to 4 continents, N.A. (at least 5 states and Mexico), S.A. (Venezuela, Ecuador, Belize...I don't remember the rest), Asia (Japan! Great stuff there), and Europe (Spain, England). I'm hoping to get the other 2 continents in within the next few years :)

Mine has been all the way from one coast of Canada to the other, stopping at a bunch of cities in between (including the biggest three).

North America (Hawaii, Texas, Chicago, Minnesota)
The Pacific Ocean (In a sub)

It almost got too see Japan, but...

I'm too poor to travel, but my DS has been with me through the American south and western Canada. And the thing was made in China, wasn't it? So it's been to China, too.

well i'm going to Antarctica in december... don't want my DS and games stolen in a third world country [in this case Argentina, where i'll travelling around before and after Antarctica] so i probably leave my DS at home.

Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. Sad isn't it?

I live in Iowa myself, the very southeastern corner right on the border with Missouri and Illinois.

My DS has been to Ireland and to New York a few times. :)

DS went to Turkey last year. Did you know they sell DS carts with multiple games on them? Completely bootleg but still interesting

Mine has been to 3, and soon to be 4 continents. It has been to london, norway, peru, obviously the states (if you count the gba its been to almost 40, before the ds was released), and by the end of the month it will have been with me to japan.

My DS hasn't had the opportunity of visiting many countries. However, it had the pleasure of traveling around the world 3 times already. That's a lot of mileage..

Mine has been to New Zealand & thats it.

Mine has been to: Australia, Japan, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden.

Hopefully we'll be off again soon!

Mine's been to Mexico, Jamaica, Grand Caymen and several US states.

My Phat has seen NY, PA, FL, MD, NJ, and Italy, and my lite has seen just NY and PA. Alas, I don't travel much.

Mine's been to NYC, California, Spain, the UK, and it's going to Iceland and Sweden with me this summer. :)

I recently spent 2 months sailing around South East Asia...
Does the sea count? My DS has crossed the East China Sea, South China Sea and the equator twice during this trip.

I bring him everywhere I go!
Hence my trusty DS has been to
Japan, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines...
