A bit pedantic of me, but it's available for the iPod (5th gen and later) too.

I've got it, and while it's kept me busy on a few road trips, I found the quality a little low for a Square Enix game.

We will probably hear about this again in december 2009 but the game will be released in 2012.

Figures. The first Square-Enix game released on the PS3 (before FFXIII) is going to be a port. :P

Isn't Eternal Sonata published by Square-Enix?
But yea, that was a port.

Square-Enix -developed- title. That was developed by tri-Crescendo. Besides Versus XIII, I also don't see any exclusive PS3 titles, either, which is pretty damn ridiculous considering all the support they gave SE on the PlayStation 1 and 2, basically making them into the company they are today.

'Crystal Defenders R1' is only the PSN title.

The XBLA version is called 'Crystal Defenders RB'.

The WiiWare version is called 'Crystal Defenders: Waggle to the Right'

"It's understandable, considering it's currently only available for the iPhone and was released onto the app store without anyone really noticing."

You mean YOU didn't notice it because you don't have an iPhone? It was pretty well noticed in the App Store.

Yep. It's the most played tower defense game on my iPhone atm. It's just really addicting and the music is absolutely beautiful.

I understand these guys are supposed to know about Playstation 3 more than anything, but a simple search in iTunes/Pockergamer/TouchArcade would probably show you that the game had some pretty great praise.

Tower defense games are fun. I would definitely not mind another, especially from Square-Enix.

i love this game on my iphone. this and fieldrunners. although i have to say the differnt modes of final fantasy crystal defenders make it a better buy then fieldrunners if you dont already have a tower defense game for your iphone (theres tons of em but these 2 are the best)
