It's hard to replicate the elegant beauty of Flower in a headline. The upcoming PlayStation Network game is getting ready for a February release, and we're psyched. It may sound surprising, but Flower is one of the best-looking games we've ever seen, from both an artistic and technical standpoint. Techies will love seeing thousands of individual blades of grass rendered on the screen; while those with a softer side will be awe-struck by the eye-catching use of color. Once you play Flower, you will believe.

Flower will be more important to the future of gaming then people realize. Without a doubt, it proves that games CAN be art.

Perhaps you haven't heard about Shadow of the Colossus. Now that game was a work of art.

Of course I have, the difference is, Flower is more of an art 1st and then a game.

flOw, flOwer and LBP are the first steps into the future of gaming.
I was having a conversation last night about "achieving" things in games, unlocking new stuff, getting high scores and the old COD prestige mode.
I think that these games are the first steps into gaming for fun rather than gaming to win/unlock/collect.
Even the COD games, once you've prestiged it, why bother playing through again? - for fun.
It's a revolution I tells ya.
