Ubisoft has given first-person disaster-survival title I Am Alive an enigmatic March release window. That puts the launch anywhere from six to ten weeks from now, a very short amount of time considering we've seen approximately zilch in terms of gameplay footage. After being hyped up so much at E3, there's been little to no promotion for the game. We're a bit perplexed by this one, and hope it's not a foreboding sign.
Other games slated to come out in March include Tom Clancy's HAWX, a PC version of EndWar and Broken Sword Wii. Tenchu: Shadow Assassin, a Wii exclusive, has been given a more exact March 6 date.

too bad gamefly will just ship random games in your Q instead of, you know, shipping them in order. ASSHOLES!

lol I know they can be douches sometimes. What I do is I leave what ever game I want on my Q and take out the rest. They'll have to send you that one!
And wtf is up with dead space and mirrors edge for the 360? They both came out on october/november and their still low availability! Gamefly needs to get their shit straight.

That happened to me once but I didn't have to pay for it. But yeah, everything is on low availability. Well, all the top games that came out for Q4. I was lucky enough to play the new prince of persia because I put it at the top of my Q a day before it came out.

Yeah, they sent me too in a row that were two scratched up to play. One was even broken in half. I wondered if Gamefly was going to think I was swapping out their games for broken copies of the game I already had.
Luckily, Gamefly has not yet become self-aware.

Reading the headline I thought they'd release info about it in March... had to read the article twice to confirm that they actual games releasing instead.
I remember being intrigued watching that trailer a year back... not sure why they haven't hyped it more. Maybe their trying to pull an apple?

This just reminded me of something. Where is Disaster: Day of Crisis from Nintendo? I wouldn't be surprised if it has turned into Happiness: Day of Minigames.

That's alright. From the looks of it, Disaster was bound to live up to its name anyway. I assume the same will happen for Broken Sword.

This looks like a really promising game. Ubisofts burnt me before with Assassin's Creed though so hopefully this game won't do the same. Seems kinda dumb to release a game we have no knowledge about.

I am so intrigued by this game. I really, really want it to be good but the lack of details scares me. I love the idea behind it - a first person game where survival is the main goal (and not just shooting the shit out of a bunch of dudes, though I'm sure that'll be there) that takes place in the current time period. Like Fallout, but without Super Mutants. At least that's how it sounds in my head.
You know what might shed some light on the details? Oh, that's right - if Ubisoft released some damned info on the game!

No gameplay whatsoever but the theme and story potential alone make me want to know more about it.

What i'd like to know is what new games are involved with the brazilian studio they just acquired; Developer Studios like ours in Mexico are always eager to cooperate in multi-dev projects.

this looks like I Am Legend in video game form. The names are even almost exactly the same.

I think everyone should keep their expectations low and hopefully we will all be pleasantly surprised.

The source says it's due in the first quarter which for a lot of video game companies means April through June.

This just got bumped up on my radar.
I really like the idea of not hearing about a game until a couple months before it comes out. I feel like games get so much hype that there's no way they can live up to expectations nowadays, also, a lot of the story tends to get spoiled. Hoping this plays out differently.
Also, the trailer is a great setup.

I may seem overly cynical, but the plot is basically Waterworld in reverse.
