Whacking 69 bikers give you good wood?
What the hell is Rockstar trying to tell us?

I hope that was an innuendo. Otherwise, they're just referring to the wooden bat, and that's boring.

Any chance that this DLC will be fully co-op capable? Co-op was partially implemented in GTAIV, but I would love to see more of it.

I agree with you there.
I wish they would go back to that.

I actually really liked how the bikes handled, even better than the cars. I grabbed a 900 whenever I could to get around town.

Only thing realistic about motorcycles in GTA4 was flying off it, crashing at high speed. IMO, they handled like shit.
Sorry to nitpick, but i don't think GTA was every zany and over the top like Saints Row. The characters might have been a little more comic, ie. The RC Shop guy in San Andreas, but that is about it.

The bikes did feel a bit "heavy." It didn't bother me to the point of annoyance, but I would've preferred it if R* at least gave the sport bikes a more nimble feel. I got used to it eventually, and now I can probably whip the asses of 99.9% percent of those online.

I suggest watching the FX series, "Sons of Anarchy". Outside of being a damn good show, the DLC seems to be very close in feel to SOA.
While watching the show I found myself wondering if the guys at R* got a few ideas from it.

While I haven't seen the show, I have to say it feels very lame to me that Rockstar North is using the popularity of other media (SoA, specifically) to base their DLC on. Now, if they had plans for this storyline from the beginning, I don't think that's a fair criticism. I'm going to buy the DLC no matter what (unless it's complete crap, that is), I just think they created a somewhat stand-alone, original story with Niko and co. and hope they're not going to go back to aping American pop-culture references and sources for the remainder of their plots and characters (e.g. Vice City = Scarface and Miami Vice with a twist, San Andreas = Boyz in the Hood with a twist).

I don't particularly mind the mimicry so long as it's done skillfully.
At any rate I highly recommend watching SoA. The second season won't be starting for a few more months so you have time to get caught up.
You won't be disappointed.

Haha, oh man I love that movie to death. Is Corey Feldman in the expansion? If he, isn't he should be.

Ugh. I really want to buy this and Braid too. But the thing I only play games at work (I'm a security guard!) and you can't play games you bought online while offline. And I rarely ever play games when I'm home (when I do have internet). Does anyone know away around this? I really want to play that DLC.

You should be okay, as long as it's on the same 360.

1) You can play games that you bought online while you're offline. The problem was that if you tried to play them on a different console (like after a RROD swap), THEN you needed to be online.
2) Didn't they fix this with the NXE? I believe you can re-register the games to your new console or something like that, so you can then play them offline on that console.

yes, you can re-register your downloads or whatever, but you still have to re-download them on the new console. if you play on a different console at work than at home toro, then you're sol unless you swap consoles while you're off.

As long as I get some worthwhile reward for doing so then I don't mind.
In IV, my life was made much easier when I realized that canceling plans after you've agreed to do them does not negatively affect your stats (so long as your friend is the one who initiated the activity).
So just say yes and call 'em right back with the bad news.

This looks pretty cool and I'm sure I'll download it, but I just hope it includes some upgrades or tweaks to the game other than new story. For example, new buildings to visit, or maybe some tweaks to the traffic engine, which I find poorly done in some parts of the city. Maybe some new mini game activities, or bring back the rampage modes from old GTA games.

Any word on how much this is gonna set us back? I really want to get it but the thought of paying 1600 MS points for just 3/4 hours of gameplay isn't very enticing.
