Still over priced for just new controls.

Not really... gamestop sells the original used for $25 and this is meant for people who don't own the original, or who really liked pikmin. $30 is a very reasonable price for any decent disk based game, especially when its the starting price.

I don't think it is when the only change is controls.

The cost to do this would be nothing in comparison to making a Wii specific Pikmin game.

If they added new levels or other content, then maybe, but I never value any repackaging of a game worth more then 20 bucks, especially when games are more then 5 years old. (Pikmin being 8 years from Japans release of it)

Its new to me and the Wii controls make this seem much more interesting than the terrible GC controller would've been, so $20-30 seems about right for me to consider a purchase.

I'll gladly pay you $30, but please just keep the reversible box art from the Japanese games

If they are charging $40.00 for Play on Wii, then Nintendo is having delusions of grandeur. There will need to be some massive gameplay elements/levels/ect added to warrant such an increase, certainly something more than new controls.

I think 20 dollars is a fair price. 25 is pushing it. 40 is outrageous, and I can't imagine anyone paying that.
