Just _watching_ the wii user have to point and click on those letters makes my wrist hurt.

I don't want to be overly cynical, but isn't playing a DS-capable game on the DS kind of overkill?

And so I don't sound completely bitchy... those graphics look good! and also, Woo, Final Fantasy!

Grahpics look good... On the DS... The Wii version looks exactly like the DS version.. That's kind of a cheap cop out...

Seriously, the Wii is playing with half the screen.

I mean, I'm sure the game will still be amazing, but I'd be hard pressed to suggest the Wii version.

So this is how the future GB/GBC/GBA/DS player is gonna look and work eh? Hope the player will do a little upconversion if it's possible.

Is it just me who feels that the Wii version should be wiiware, possibly available for free download if you buy the DS version?

The "multiplayer" in these games kinda blows. I'm sure this one will be no different from its' predecessors in that there is no story in multiplayer mode. LAME. I'll pass until the producers on the Square side of S-E can pull their heads out of their asses and make a true multiplayer RPG. If they could do it 16 years ago, I don't see what the problem is today.

The Wii version seems to have slightly better textures and special effects, but they use the same models, no doubt for collision detection reasons.

Of course, these videos show that this game was clearly designed with the DS in mind. I'm going to avoid the Wii version.

Though I bet a PC version with multiple-monitor support would kick ass, especially if one of the monitors was a touchscreen.

I really enjoyed Ring of Fates, so I will pick this up, but just for the DS. I prefer playing on my DS. Neat idea to release it on both systems, but sadly the Wii version isn't that impressive. I bet it would require too much resources to beef up the Wii game while still allowing it to be recognized by the DS game; keeping the same engine simplifies the problem, so I understand the reason Square kept it the same.
