Are you joking? Amazon itself maybe reliable but it's rubbish marketplace is full to the brim of scammers, criminals and other low-life scumbags.

If you buy something off of the internet, and it is not as advertised - meaning that the REAL Nintendo DS in the photo turned out to be the really bad fake one in the above photos - then you have legal options, and I believe even eBay and Amazon and whatnot have policies regarding such things.

Don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch. And just don't be an idiot when shopping online. The buyer need not beware if the buyer has half a brain.

No, I don't sell anything online. And I've only ever bought one or two things on the internet. But attitudes like the above bug me, is all. A kid was kidnapped in a Wal Mart once. Does that make everyone in Wal Mart a child predator and Wal Mart a company that encourages kidnapping children? No, of course not. Yet the same logic is applied to the internet because it's "magical". Just ugh.

Were the consoles being advertised as real, to trick buyers into wasting their money, were they misleading (XBOX BOX FOR ONLY $100!!!), or were they being fair and selling them as what they actually were (Selling Neo Double Games!)?

If you're stupid enough to fall for that fake DS box, then you deserve to be scammed.

To a parent, that looks a lot like a DS box (I would think) even the logo on the side is a pretty good imitator...

That thing barely looks like a DS! The only thing that makes it look similar is the two screens. If you fall for that, you obviously don't know what a DS looks like.

What makes me feel bad is all those parents just trying to give their kids a good gift, even when they don't have much money. These rip-offing bastards deserve the jail time.

I'm glad to see that common sense has prevailed through on this thread. Now, if only people would stop being so hypocritical about flash cards. But where would we be without hypocrisy?
