Fun stuff, I am one of those people that didn't play Gears right up to Gear 2, but still enjoying Gears 2.

FATTY!!!! Got a 360V fan here :)

I guess we are in the minority. I very much so enjoy GoW2 and with the "Title Update 2" it has even been better and it fixed the issues that sucked. For me the MP matching is SUPER quick... Find matches in less then 2 minutes 90% of the time.

In GoW1 you are lucky to find a match that quick (if you did 90% of the time you are stuck on the sucky team with n00bs). In GoW1 my average wait time was 10-15 minutes. Have to factor in those idiot hosts who will not launch because their "friends" are stuck in the middle, ect.

Now with shotgun client hit detection it makes even laggy games work out when the host is from another country or something.

I am in love with Wingman and horde mode...

Yep good matchmaking, and more importantly a party system make a game so much more playable. I have had great luck with Gears 2.

Well I just got the game for Christmas so I'm still loving it (the campaign). The multiplayer has been ok, although I did get kicked out in the middle of a horde session, which bugged me. I think I prefer Halo 3 for multiplayer, Gears for the campaign.

Yeah I really liked the campaign. Although online horde mode, is a great experience, more games need to do this. It's a great way to get a lot of people into co-op, and make it fun for a short burst or several hours.

Sorry to correct, but in economics (and here as well) a diminishing return is when an action has decreased efficacy over time. They aren't saying the play returns to normal levels, they are saying that the DLC peak gets smaller and smaller. Example: Release sees 5m players which reduces to 2m, DLC1 peaks at 4m then back to 2m, DLC2 peaks at 3m then back to 2m, DLC3 has no peak.

Diminishing returns is used to determine at what point another action will create less returns than the effort put into it.

GOW 2 sucks big time! It was a HUGE disapointment. The org. GOW is a lot better and faster. Specially the shotgun works much better in the org. GOW..

GOW 3 better be more like GOW!

Me and my friends now only play GOW. GOW 2 has been permanently binned..

I for 1 did not agree with epic selling 3 maps that where already suppose to be in the game on release date. if u really take a look at the storage space it only take about 76mbs which in the old gears when discovery dished out 2 free maps (old bones & raven down) it took about 215mbs jus for 2 maps. epic in my terms did us dirty trying to hustle us which i cannot lie i ended up getting since i am a big gow fanboy so consider me wat u like but with the new patch i do much better with the shotgun being stronger n all those gay glitches ppl exploited. with that being said i bitch about the game but cannot stop playin it!!

I wouldn't mind trying horde again for the new achievements but I'm way past matchmaking now. And my friends are past the game entirely so me playing horde is unlikely.

Well I just recently started playing it alot more, simply because I finally actually own it.

I notice alot of bugs are fixed, but the gameplay is still broken on some modes. Horde and Campaign are amazing though.

well, you see those sharp dips downward, thats when everyone figured out how to do new glitches in ranked matches. fuck you epic, you ruined gears of war, which could have been the best 3rd person shooter ever.

I think cliffy B is taking up some ideas from belkin and paying people to troll blogs to post positive things about gow2.

This was definitely me. I didn't really have much interest in Gears 1 until all the good reviews coming out and bought it about a month or so after it came out. Then for Gears 2 I didn't have much interest and bought it in Jan

My thoughts are as follows. I pay good money to play a fair game on X-BOX live not to be Lag switch to death, glitched beyond belief. Cliffy put out a product with alot of issues. That is the LAST $69.00 product i will buy from EPIC. P.S. Cliffy, I know you do alot of testing of your game before its releaseed so you have know excuse for how crappy your game runs> A word of advice when you want to create a good running game, maybe you should go talk to the boy's and girl's at INFINITYWARD thats the best multiplayer game running Call of Duty rules.

The only issue I have with this game is starting up. It will freeze and I have to restart my xbox.

Same issue with another xbox and my brothers.
