So do the videos come with the song downloads? These just don't seem like a good value compared to Rock Band where you sing or play 3 instruments for each song.

Yeah it's 4. Drums, 2 guitars, and mic.

I said "sing or play 3 instruments", how is that not 4?!? Singing implies a mic last time I checked.

I feel the same way about "Look What You've Done".

PS Dustin, please don't try to make a clever headline from the bands.

God forbid they take popular songs and put them on Lips. What were they thinking?

Sorry but I am going to take the bait on this. Your comment is utterly ridiculous.

Some people do care. Its also a game for the 360 (thus being covered by xbox360fanboy) that continues to offer DLC on a regular basis. It is their job.. their obligation to report on news like this. Continues DLC is quite a nice feature, regardless whether you like the game or not.

So, if you don't like it just move along. Move along.

Yeah. I have to agree with the guy above me. You're an idiot. This has everything to do with the 360, whether you own the game or not. If you want to raise a ruckus about unrelated articles, then save it for the "Obama's aide overheard saying Xbox" articles.

LMFAO at "obligation" they used to cover video marketplace releases, but stopped because they didn't think people cared about it, due to too few user comments. They aren't obliged to do anything on this site. I was just offering my opinion, in a humorous manner. Offday, the guy above never called me an idiot, he said my comment was ridiculous, which I agree with, it was supposed to be silly (See spelling of my post). If are looking for intelligent discourse, stay off the internet.

Ummm, some do care. I have a family who has loved lips since they got it from me for Christmas. My daughter's favorite song right now is Thnks fr th mmrs, and she will be damned excited to be singing it.

If you are not interested, then keep on scrolling down.

As for the question about value, yes they do seem a little high for the price when compared with Rock Band (which to regain my cred I have downloaded approx 50 or 60 songs for) but they do come with the original video.

Umm... I may be a bit clueless, but is the caption on this picture totally racists? A black woman looking at BBQ lustily?

Lol, good catch. I don't think there was supposed to be a space between the 2 words. Was that a Freudian slip?

I was thinking that too...seems borderline racist if it doesn't pertain to something I don't know about...

Stereotyping. "All black people like barbecues"

At least that's what I think he meant.

Why is it that every hip-hop or R&B tune today is titled like this:

"SONG NAME by ARTIST featuring ARTIST"

I mean, you never saw James Brown or Aretha Franklin pulling that crap. The main performer took the main credit, and the other guest artists were credited on the album, in the liner notes as contributors.

For example, when Rockwell released his one hit "Somebody's Watching Me" it was always credited like this:

"Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell

and not:

"Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell featuring Michael Jackson and Jermaine Jackson

No. Michael and Jermaine were happy to be quietly credited elsewhere. Of course we all knew that was Michael Jackson (not so much with Jermaine) but that's the point: If you're a big enough star you don't need to slap your name on anything you happened to be around to witness.

Ergo: Today's R&B stars are talentless egomaniacs that can only gain fame by making sure their name is etched on everything in sight.

Another example of how this modern ideal wasn't abused in the old days. Hip Hop artists have been "sampling" licks and lyrics from James Brown and Parliament since R&B started. However, you never see them credit James Brown, or any member of Parliament, in their song credit.

If they were doing that, then Macy Gray's "Ghetto Love" would be listed this way:

"Ghetto Love" by Macy Gray featuring James Brown

You NEVER see this.

If George Clinton, James Brown, and Bootsy Collins got credit for every lick, line, and sample of their music found on other R&B/Hip Hop artists' albums, they'd have the credit for about 3/4 of those genres.

Nope. It's only when someone named Ne-Yo or "little ____" shows up and raps one or two lines that they give partial credit to them. Apparently writing the music 30 years ago and having the tune ripped off so someone else can sing/rap over it isn't enough to deserve line credit.
