This game looks just cheesy/lame enough for the girlfriend so I'll get stuck buying it.

I can relate. To be honest, that's how I got into the PixelJunk series. My girlfriend at the time thought Monsters looked great, and it got to the point where sometimes I'd be like, "Hey, check out this game! It's called Bionic Commando Rearmed," and she'd be like "No, I only want to play PixelJunk Monsters." Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing it, but at the time, I started getting sick of it.

That's why LittleBigPlanet is such a good game though. It's a good game that the girlfriend actually likes, which is why it's a great game. That's the real explanation for the high scores, for those of you who don't get it.

Go ahead and criticize and insult me... but I wasn't really expecting much from this game and I wasn't thinking about picking it up, but now that I see the trophies (basically the fact it HAS trophies), I'm seriously considering picking it up.

Maybe I'll be less crazy when EVERY game has trophies, but for now, trophies make a game look more desirable for me, almost to the point where I've been neglecting old PS one and PS2 games! Anyway, my point is, video games are great, but the money I get from my job is to save up for a place to live!
Independence + x games > Parents' house + 1.2 games.

all ps3 titles releasing 2009 and beyond are confirmed trophy support... just like gauranteed achievements for the 360.

All games from now on will have trophies when released AFAIK. If it hasn't started already, it will start soon.

I wonder if this game is being published by namco-bandai. The creator is the same guy who did Katamari and a lot of the katamari stuff shows up in The iDOLM@STER in the form of accessories, hell the song Danketsu in Beautiful Katamari is an iDOLM@STER related song. Anyway the number 765 is also the name of the production studio the girls are working for in iDOLM@STER. Coincidence? Maybe there'll be iM@S music in noby noby boy!

Same here, they all look fantastic and original. Aside from Killzone 2, it was creative games like those that made me want to buy a PS3.

Yeah, so what? I also play games like WaW, have a positive k/d ratio (1.4 ish), platinum on that game and 2 others. Just cause I like cute pink stuff and I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm not a hardcore gamer. I know just as much about games as anyone else reading this site.

Even if this game didn't have trophies I'm still going to be all over it. $5, you can't go wrong. The original creator of Katamari with a new unique game exclusively for PS3? Yes please. I love the PSN for it's diverse offerings. Much better than the shit they churn out on XBLM.

Looks too Katamari-like to me! Too bad I don't own a PS3. Hope they port it to PSP sometime. I think they will.

Someone explain to me why I didnt earn the "Eat your words" trophy. I entered the manual w/ select. ate the words 'Noby Noby Boy', pooed them out, ate them again.. no trophy? HELP!?

You have to eat the letters in order and do not eat other symbols or letters before or in between.
