First TMNT shots packed with Turtle power
14
Though it's been out in the open for some time, Ubisoft today officially confirmed development was underway on TMNT: Smash Up. There are only two screens to date, featuring all four turtles doing their green-skinned, katana-wielding thang, but they look really promising (and possibly hint at a 2.5D game?).
The combination of '80s nostalgia (fun fact that we refuse to be embarrassed about: we had Turtles wallpaper right up until we moved out of home at 18) and the involvement of Super Smash Bros. Brawl developer Game Arts will ensure this game won't escape our attention easily. Check out both shots in Large-O-Vision here.

Versus Crusade?
Don't expect much of it, I had already played, and yeah, its fun, but fight last a couple of seconds cuz attacks are way to powerfull and can chain a lot of combos on and health drains pretty fast.
I'm pretty sure they could had done way more, but still, its a good game

Now all another developer has to do is make a Power Rangers fighting game with every generation thus far. EPIC WIN. PROVE ME WRONG!!

Crud, curse my eyes for having high hopes for this one. You know I don't dislike SSBB, in fact it has moments where it is so fun and engaging - I can't put it down for days. That been said, I seriously wished that this TMNT one was going to be a serious fighting game.
I suppose the major problem with this line of thinking is that I have had years upon years to daydream about a new TMNT fighter. TMNT: Tournament Fighters was a game that stayed in my SNES for years. I mean I could have played that on a tourney-level. It almost hurts to see the turtles put into a simple fighter after that. Especially when a team fighter would make so much more sense, or something more close quarters and possibly more like a mixed martial arts affair a-la Def Jam.
That's really what it is though, well for me anyhow. I mean if they had a tag-team Def Jam overhaul starring the turtles with the roster being filled by other Eastman and Laird characters. Really fast and brutal martial arts, bone crunching moves, multiple styles to choose from, a little weapon on weapon combat. I'd rather see the moves be a lil smoother AND faster than Def Jam though, and maybe a little bit of aerial play going on, but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
