Retail and download releases for the week of January 26th

This week, Wii owners get some new, quality titles to play. On the retail side, we've got three new games on offer. On the downloadable side, it's slim pickings again with only one WiiWare game and one Virtual Console game up for grabs. Plan on treating yourself this week? I'm interested to see the final reviews for Rygar and to see how Niki turned out. Seems kind of fun.

Well, looks like Niki stands a much better chance of actually selling than Plattchen did; it's got no other WiiWare to compete against.

you got to be fucken kidding me with virtual console. Isn't this the 5th version of that wonder boy game to be released or something ?

There are 6 wonder boy games, and two versions for each one.

Will be getting rygar, saw a review on ign and it sounds about right.

Rygar shall be purchased. looks amazing.

too bad I won't have time to play it until the Summer =\

David, when you download "Wonder Boy in Monster Land" could you please press the - button on the wiimote while playing. In Europe they have a options menu come up that lets you swap the 1 and 2 buttons and turn on the FM music. I am very interested if they will have the FM music in the NA version of the VC. I believe the FM add-on was never available in NA.
