We usually use this space in the Free Game Club post to expound a bit on the gameplay of the week's subject. But we're not going to do that this time. No, the last thing we'd want to give away is the delightful, mind-bending mechanic that Closure is built around.
Instead of spoiling all the fun, we'll spend our time trying to convince you that you absolutely need to check this game out. Would it sway you to know it was created by Tyler Glaiel, half of the team behind the delightful Aether? What if we informed you that it had a gorgeous, willowy look to which the above screenshot can't do justice? Would that make you more likely to click?
If you're still not swayed, continue and read the comments below from readers that have come before. Who can you trust, if not the Joystiq BioMass?

The game does a good job of teaching you its mechanics and premise. I just find the gameplay to be a bit dull.

it is dull, but some people sprout one for mind benders like this

I agree. Aside from it's very well-imagined primary mechanic, everything else is just generic guy-needs-key-to-open-door.
Maybe if the goal was more unique it would hold up better, but still a nifty design.

I, one of the multifaceted appendages of the Joystiq Biomass, agree that you should play this game, and download flash.

Wow. That was one of the coolest openings I've seen for any kind of game.

Okay, am I the only one who can't figure out level 4?

Remind anyone of a 2D Echochrome? I like the concept that what you see is what exists.

It seems more along the lines of Super Mario Galaxy's Matter Splatter Galaxy to me.

Wow, this game is really tough. I do think it's brilliant and intelligent. It's worth at least some play through --at least until you get frustrated.

Combine this with a few other unique gameplay elements (and a more substantive storyline) and you could have something special... a Wii Ware title.

Reminds me of those levels in Super Mario Galaxy.

Great game. I'm stuck on a level but I'll go back to it a little later with a fresh look. So your character can block the light? frustrating!

Okay I'm dumb. I didn't understand what was going on with the darker orbs. The closer you are to them the dimmer they get. Finally beat level 10 though. I'm on like... 15 or so

Nice underplayed story, good concept, great execution. I wish games like this got the full-dev-team treatment instead of schlock like Haze or The Golden Compass.
