yes...very much so. i'm actually piqued now. before i was thinking the game looked interesting, but no way in hell it was going to be worth 60 bucks. i had no idea it was going to be a small downloadable game offered on PSN.

Me too.

If it were $5 like NobiNobi Boy, I'd totally be up for that but I think NNB is going to keep me quite busy until this goes on sale for $5 like every game I've wanted to get from PSN.

Will definately consider buying this.

On a side note - where has your favicon gone Joystiq? My bookmarks toolbar looks naked!

You should have this site on RSS anyways, and then it wouldn't matter about the fav icon. Plus, you'd be able to see what all the day's topics are at once. Just a suggestion.

For eye candy it sure looks to be more interesting than linger in the shadows was. I'm gonna grab it. BTW, Linger was just friggin weird.

*Oh, I know this isn't the same thing as Linger.

Wow, I was already planning on getting this, but $10 will be a steal. These are the types of games that really shine on PSN...games that possess more than your standard shoot, shoot, shoot, repeat scenario.

BTW, Linger was indeed weird, but in a fantastic way and at a great price. It was well worth the dough even though I don't plan to play it again unless it is to show someone the craziness.

This and Noby Noby Boy for $15? That's really going to ease the wait for Killzone.

What I do is this: after playing some Killzone, I relax with some Flower. Honestly, I can't play more than one level of Killzone at a time. It's just too intense and exhausting.

Oh, I like that idea. I'm definitely a lightweight when it comes to playing intense games for extended periods.

By the way, I'm probably more jealous that you got to hang out with Ms. Belmont than I am about you already having KZ2 and Flower.

Oh and is anyone else unable to sign in to PSN and get the error code for all accounts?

Alrite so I've seen some cool vids and heard some good news about Flower, also the $9.99 is fair. However, since supposedly all games starting '09 will have trophies does this include Flower? It's just kinda hard seeing what trophies they could be.

I'm terribly sorry. I'm on my work computer and the speakers on the laptop are not good at all. And for some odd reason I thought the guy in the video was speaking Japanese.

On an unrelated note: how am I able to get a pic for my avatar?

Thanks again and sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'm glad the upcoming PSN titles have kept a reasonable price point.

I hope Fat Princess comes in at around $10-$15

Also, I like the new redesign. I was afraid it was going to go the way of Kotaku but fortunately it didn't

Great game I am sure, but with the backlog of games I need to finish, shelving this until the inevitable "$5 PS Store" sale in the coming months is worth it.

It always happens, and Flower will get a temporary $5 price sometime in 2009.

They changed the structure. More or less the Joystiq site is the main one and on the top you can see a link for playstation, nintendo, MS. (http://playstation.joystiq.com/ , http://nintendo.joystiq.com/ , http://xbox.joystiq.com/) They said that some stories from each of the divisions will be posted on Joystiq directly if they are deemed important enough. Others will just be under those other site links.

So, basically, you still have your fanboy site, but it will come through the joystiq portal.

I am an Xbox guy. What is the point of this game? Is it going to be eye candy or is it going to be a game? I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything. Just wondering what this thing is. It looks pretty.

The point is to guide a flower through a dream. It's very relaxing, and even if you don't play it as a game, it's quite stunning to look at.

the point is to relax. It is a game, and will have some loose plot to it, but mostly it's the eyecandy. The other game they made, Flow, was simular, some sort of artsy relaxing fun to take a break from other things.

Ah, so when I click on this blog post, whether it's from Joystiq Main or Joystiq [PlayStation], it links me to playstation.joystiq.com.

That could actually get confusing/disorienting, since I thought I was on the main page, not the PlayStation page.

I do like the fact that the comments are the same between the two pages, however. Definitely keep that if you can. I think the best we could do (we?) would be to stay on the same page you came from, but to have the same comments between the two pages. So:

-From www.joystiq.com, you are linked to www.joystiq.com/2009/01/27/flower...

-From playstation.joystiq.com, you are linked to playstation.joystiq.com/2009/01/27/flower...

-The comments are the same on www.joystiq.com/2009/01/27/flower... and on playstation.joystiq.com/2009/01/27/flower... In other words, each page will have the exact same 54 comments (at this counting).

Was on board since they first announced this. Every time more info gets released I get more excited. I think some people are just afraid of games that are "different". I'm glad the PSN embraces unique games as well as traditional arcade style stuff.

ooo, one thing I've been wondering though is what is pause like? I remember flow if you just set down your controller, it becomes a passive piece of moving art. I was really hoping you could do something similar in this game.
