Sounds more like it didn't suck, rather the physics made reviewers go rage. According to one guy, a pebble has the staying power of Chuck Norris.

I really didn't think there was a Glacier 1. Maybe they were starting at 2 like Lenard started at part 7. Hopefully this will be less forgettable than Glacier 1 and less excruciating than Lenard Part 7.

Sounds cool; like each level is one long Burnout Crash Junction. Anyone else here miss crash junctions?

Y'know, this comment had real potential for a second there.

Then you hit the enter button twice and started typing more, and it sort of went downhill from there. Sigh. Someday you'll make a comment worthy of not burying. Someday.

The franchise is still alive but it's in different hands now. If they "next gen'd" Twisted Metal 2 and gave it online support, I would have an everlasting boner for the rest of the year! I really miss the days of Twisted Metal and Jet Moto...

The concept sounds cool, but I'll have to wait until some gameplay is revealed to see if it's the way I imagine it to be.

Indeed. Too bad there's no mention of expected lauch date on the article. However, congrats to team6 for making a refreshing concept at the racing genre for Wii.

It's just not the same without that crazy clown with the burning hair.

Speaking of which, Sweet Tooth seems to be coming to PS3 soon.

Ahhhhh, there it is! I scanned your reply just waiting to see if there was a 'holier than thou' in there, and surely enough there was! It's like a Joystiq "where's Waldo".

Games like this just make me wish somebody would do (somehow) a kickass redux of Rock n' Roll Racing.

"OLAF, LIGHTS 'EM UP!"

Downhill Domination (awesome game) + Twisted Metal (awesome games) hopefully = awesome game.

God I wish Sony would make a sequel or remake to Downhill Domination. My one and only love to racing games.

I absoulutely LOVE that game! It's amazing. One of the best games ever made. Would love to have a PS3 sequel, or even a Wii sequel!

This game looks pretty sick too! I'll buy it!

My only thought is that *Glacier* strikes me as the worst possible name for an intense vehicle-based downhill racing shooter.

"Are we moving?"

"Yeah, 3/32nds of an inch this month alone!"

"Is anyone else playing?"

"They're on the other side of that mountain. Wait a while."

"The sense of speed is terrifying. Glacial, even."

Wait a minute...you HATE Sony? And all this time I thought you loved Sony. Damn, I was WAAAAAY off.

By the way dickless wonderpants, ESaP is making a new Twisted Metal for the PS3.

Saying that, in TM's case, there has been quite a number of mentions of a next gen version and a sequel to the PSP one, pretty sure next gen is true, not sure about PSP sequel.

Fuck this. We need a remake of San Fransico Rush: 2049. Racing game/stunt game/twisted metal with sports cars and more unlockables than you can shake a cow at. God I played that game so much. Even my dad liked it, and played it so much he deadened the nerves in the tip of his accelerator finger.

True story.
