Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus coming to PS2, PSP, Wii

Fans of 2D fighters and the Guilty Gear franchise, prepare for enjoyment. Aksys has revealed Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, which is set to grace the PS2, PSP, and Wii with its 2D splendor in Spring 2009. As big fans of 2D fighters, we were more than happy to receive the press release and pass the info along to you all. So, what should you expect?

Well, there will be punching. There's also going to be some kicking. And, by all means, do not freak out when you see a character or two jump. Jokes aside, it's another Guilty Gear game. You pretty much know what you're getting into by now.

Looks like they added Justice and that short old guy that carries the giant sword from Isuka. Also has mission mode, I don't recall if the first Accent Core had that.

I do know the story mode is back in this version, so, unlike the last update, this one has endings. Otherwise, i have no idea what else is new.

PS3 Fanboy and PSP Fanboy have been merged into Joystiq PlayStation.
Wii Fanboy and DS Fanboy have been merged into Joystiq Nintendo.
360 Fanboy is now called Joystiq Xbox.

I guess I'll be getting it seeing as I don't own any of the Guilty Gear games. I played the normal XX Accent Core, which I really enjoyed.

You know, I was thinking "why would I purchase this when I already own Accent Core?".

Custom Soundtracks and online would make this a day one purchase.
I know that there probably isn't a chance in hell of either, but I'll still wait and see.
