The name "Xbox 360 Fanboy" was so honest and descrptive. I will miss it.

Looks better and taking away the Fanboy term is a plus.

Joystiq>XXXXFanboy

One step closer to becoming IGN?

I hope not. I came here to avoid IGN and Gamespot.

I do want to point out that your naming is kind of frakked up.

The URL is xbox.joystiq

the site name is Joystiq Xbox

Why are they reversed? If the site's called Joystiq Xbox, then why isn't the URL joystiq.xbox instead of the reverse?!?!

@ZeroCorpse

Uh. Because joystiq.xbox doesn't work? The site is joystiq.com, not xbox.com

Domain name fail :P

There still isn't a mobile site that works ?
I wrote in 1 month ago, to tell them that their mobile site linked to the normal joystiq page, and this is still the case..

http://m.xbox.joystiq.com/ works fine.
We had a dedicated iPhone site for ages... i.xbox360fanboy.com, that is in the process of being changed over.

The mobile site works GREAT. I have been using the mobile version of the old site for about 6 months now (and it worked all last month too) and the new one works just as well.

Maybe something wrong with your mobile device? It seems to be working for everyone else.

Either something is wrong with every single one of my 4 mobile and 4 desktop browsers, or the links given on the mobile site are wrong.

They all point to the regular joystiq page, instead of having a m. in front.. ?
Hence sending me to the full layout page..

Are everyone else really being sent to the mobile version of the articles ?

The links are wrong: http://pastebin.com/m7cb89420 ??

Our dev is working on a list of issues that will be fixed. We've only been live for a day, less than really. It'll take a little time.

We're working on it.

I rather liked the X3F name, but oh well. This does look nicer, I guess.

This is because of the recession, isn't it....

you know, it's funny. usually i hate name changes, but i think this one works well. it does a good job of communicating the fact that it's a "daughter-site" of joystiq while not sounding lame or inferior. i approve.

+1 internet xav!
