10% off Street Fighter IV FightPads and entire Capcom Store order

Those who are in the market for a new controller -- or are just feeling an overwhelming surge of Street Fighter IV excitement that only spending money can satisfy -- should hit up the Capcom Store. Why? Because everything is currently 10% off retail.

Admittedly, you'll have to do some work to get the 10% off, but the process is as easy as: 1) Add an item to your cart. 2) Exit the shopping cart screen by clicking towards the storefront. 3) A pop-up appears with a 10% off offer. Just make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off.

Once the coupon code is applied, you can grab any flavor of the new SFIV FightPads or even a too-cool T-Shirt. Sadly, the highly coveted FightSticks are sold out. Note too that you'll also have to account for shipping charges.

If only they did blank ones. It'd be great for 2D XBLA games and the upcoming Mega Drive Collection (even if the X button would be better where the RT is).

Sucks that most XBLA games don't allow control remapping though. Worse still, SamSho II does... but not for ranked matches, wtf?!?

Would be nice if they came out with blank ones with swappable configurations via a switch or something.

OMG am I dreaming? When the hell did they announce they were making game pads that are basically Sega Saturn controllers? That was hands down one of the best controllers for 2D fighting games. I'm excited! =)

You have to buy $75 worth of stuff to get the free shipping. Worked fine for me when I ordered 2 Tournament edition sticks.

I agree, a blanka pad does suit the 360 green.

Hmm... PS3 description says they are 2.4 Ghz Wireless controllers, which I likely would believe requires a USB dongle. Any confirmation on this?

They use a USB dongle.

Also... they will not turn the system on, they work with PS1 games but not PS2 games, and they have no rumble.

Anyone have a chance to try these yet? I am considering a buy, but am a little leery of the Mad Catz brand.

This a Capcom day? Noticed on Amazon that Devil May Cry 4 (for the 360) is $20 today instead of $30. Its their deal of the day. Not too bad if you want to play some DMC!

No code pop-up for me and my pop-up blocker was off.

But whatever, I pre-ordered SF4 and an SF4 gamepad which qualified me for free shipping. The shipping would have been $10. My subtotal is just under $100, so I got my 10% off anyway.

why do the coments apear only on the 360 joystiq site and not on the ps3 joystiq site? that really sux

It filters based on where the post originated from. If a post is written on the Xbox back end and pushed to other platforms the comments are "housed" on the Xbox side. This puts an end to those pesky times we post the same thing 2-3 times across the network.

the bes controller for that kind of game is the saturn!!!! fuck the dual shock

Please tell me those controllers will not work on retail games like COD waw, cod4 or any shooter games

I think you'd still have the advantage, well with them not being able to aim and all.

I hate to ask (usually because it always goes sour) but are there any difference between the PS3 and 360 versions of these pads? I still havent decided what version of the game I am getting and this could help. For example do both have to use a USB reciever or just the PS3 ones? Also can the 360 pads turn on the console like a regular controller? Thanks for the help!

PS3 fightpad is wireless with USB dongle; 360 is wired. Don't know if either one can turn on the console.
