This demo scared the crap out of me last night. As long as the game isn't taking place in an office 3/4 of the time, then I am sold!

If it took place in my office, bosses included, then I might make an exception.

Unfortunately, the first mostly took place in the narrow halls of an office or warehouse. That said, I still loved it. I am looking forward to this one.

I wasn't a huge fan of the demo. Were they seriously trying to say "No, really, it's a new game, honest, we put in giant robots and everything"?

I hate how they implemented the motion bob to simulate walking. I don't know if it's "uncanny valley" or what; they've tried to make it "realistic" but it sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

I loved the atmosphere and what I saw of the story, but the mechanics of the gameplay did not sit well with me.

I have to agree with the head bob. I understand it's to create realism, but my eyes are stationary, not bobbing to a mounted screen. That's enough to give anyone motion sickness.

I'm soopah psyched for this game after the demo. Blows Fear (1) out of the freakishly reflective polluted water.

Problem with Alma is that she isn't a child anymore. She's been abused her whole life, forced to bring children to term and then have them taken away from her, and to top it off when she tries to talk to one they turn off her life support! I think it's perfectly understandable why she's sending psychic tendrils all over the place and FSU.

I was really impressed how the demo for F.E.A.R 2 turned out. The graphics look way better than the original one. I mean seriously, I had to stop during the demo and make sure I was playing a F.E.A.R game. The whole visor thing looks awesome too. I just wish it had a regenerating health. I sometimes forget to use medkits.

I absolutely cannot watch horror films but the first FEAR, its expansions and this demo did not scare me one bit., just a few surprises.

I'm in the group of people who were disappointed by the demo and feel one reason is because it did not start out as a PC game like FEAR did and instead started for consoles and went to the PC, and so is missing things from the first game like leaning and seems more toned down and simplified. Like on the PC version, you are stuck to 16:9 resolution, if I pick any other resolution, then there are bars forced on the screen to simulate 16:9, same with Mirrors Edge, LAME.....

The replica soldiers also didn't talk as much as they did in the first game, they were very quiet. I liked FEAR and the two expansions and was set to buy this on day one but now will wait until the price is $30 or below. Thank god they released a demo for PC as demos for PC are scare now, there was a Dead Space demo for PS3/360 but not PC for instance.

After playing RE5 demo, watching lots of KZ2 videos and losing all hope that Blizzard will get on its feet this year I can honestly say this is my most anticipated game of 2009.

The demo was impressive fromt he begining to the end and F.E.A.R happens to be one of my favorite PC games of all time.

Are we also going to find out what happened to the Point Man and others from the first game? Shame you can't play as him again, considering he is the son of Alma and thus the reason why he was the slow mo powers, vs the hero of FEAR 2 who gets the powers simply through surgery......

I just hope it's scary this time. The first F.E.A.R. didn't scare me at all. It was like The Ring meets DOOM. Alma is totally a blatant knock-off of Samara. I kinda went into it knowing what to expect already. I really enjoyed the enemy A.I. though.

"Do you have any idea where we are?" he finally said to break the awkward situation, letting his eyes wander up to the sky for a moment as he stared at the strange half-sunrise all around them. The phrase "hot dog princesses" came to mind for some reason, but he shoved the thought away. "This is weird... it's almost like a Genjutsu or something..." He didn't know much about the nature of the illusions, but Bokusatsu had a feeling that this place could possibly be the product of one. When he turned to look at her again, he remembered the ring and glanced at it for a moment. "I think... something wants us to fight."
