So much for "Disney to buy EA", I guess. If they can't afford to keep people employed they sure as hell can't afford to acquire the Juggernaut (bitch)

Anyone else think it's odd that Disney owns a studio named Propaganda?

Hopefully the lay offs stop soon, I'm hoping to get a job at Avalanche once I graduate college.

I hate layoffs so much.

Also, hopefully Turok will stay, and I have a sick little happy feeling seeing Fall Line Studios is in trouble. I feel horrible for even thinking that, then again, Ensemble just closed doors too :(

Lay offs aren't a great thing to happen, but let's face it, the world is in a very fragile state, and things like this are just adding shit to the fire.

Don't remember turok that well, although i remember it being alright (the good kind of alright)

But now that disney has grasped it around the neck i have no faith in anything that will be produced by them from here onwards :/

This sucks I really wanted to see a Turok 2, especially since it's the only current gen game that actually focuses on the dinosaurs. Any other game that has came out just threw a dino or 2 in there and called it a day. This is heartbreaking news for dino lovers everywhere :(

Wow, I guess all the whatever games caught up to them but I ended up really Wow, I guess all the whatever games caught up to them but I ended up really enjoying the sleeper hit PURE which makes me think good things can come out of Disney IS.

As for layoffs, so much for those awesome corporate tax cuts.

It's interesting that, as the world as we know it is crashing down around us, all you posters have to worry about is some silly video games. Must be nice.
