Lucky Europe receives 'Best of Halo' Xbox 360 bundle

Because Halo Wars is in dire need of more promotion and marketing (not really), Microsoft will be releasing a special edition Xbox 360 console dubbed the "Best of Halo edition". Swedish retailer Webhallen has the listing, mentioning the bundle will ship February 27th and will include all the standard 360 Pro amenities (60GB HDD, wireless controller, headset, cables, etc.) with the addition of both Halo 3 and Halo Wars. And for 2795 kr or about $350 USD, it's actually a decent deal.

As far as we know, Europe will be the only market this Best of Halo Xbox 360 will see a release in. But that doesn't mean Stateside fanboys can't keep their fingers crossed and continue to pray to the prophets above.

They could have thrown in Halo 2 to make it actually the "Best of Halo". It's not the Best of Halo now...not in literal terms. It's just two Halo games that released recently.

Halo 2 was the worst Halo game, you meant to say Halo 1.

Heh. Halo 1 was the best part of the trilogy. But the reason i didn't say Halo 1 was because it wouldn't work on the 360. Or does it...i dunno? If so, MS should have thrown all the Halos in that package.

Halo 1 is a downloadable xbox orginal...

Oh yea...completely forgot about that! MS should have added a redeemable code!

They should put Halo:CE in there too...

why do all europe get like the best bundles , gears of war 2 ,halowars and i think other one that U.S does not get

mainly because everyone in the US already have a 360 and also have GeOW 1&2, as well as Halo 3. So Microsoft sees no point in releasing it here

I thought they would have waited for OSDT to come out and then do all of them together.

Halo ODST doesn't look that good, you're just a marine and there is no focus on how the elites split away from the covenant.

I'm actually more interested in ODST. I don't really care for strategy games as I a) don't have the time to put real effort into them, and b) I generally suck at them.

I do agree that they should have included Halo 1 as you can't have a 'best of' without the classic that started it all.

will this have the halo3 controller in it?

first 2 should definatly be in there.. they were better games, with better enemies.. the the model kit brutes were dissapointing for a main enemy, they should of played a simular role to the Boomers from Gear of War..

Try using FireFox. I used it to change my avatar and now I'm back on Safari until I want to change it again. I don't like FireFox.

Yeah I'm having problems with my avatar too. Sometimes it's fine but sometimes it cycles through avatars I had ages ago.

It's hit and miss unfortunately. For the most part I hate this commenting system (no link to your profile page without having to click your name on a post you already made, wtf?) - but I put up with it because I like these blogsites.

I actually think that this is the only special box 360 in the UK. I mean I have seen boxes with a picture of what games come with it, but not like that kind of thing.

I have might considered this but I already have 3 360's, Halo 3, and have Halo Wars on pre-order.

I ordered my 360 at Webhallen, it's an awesome retailer (no I'm not payed by them to say so)
