Exactly what I said once the trailer ended. Well, without the abbreviation.

It'll be both turn-based and real-time, in two different modes.

I'll tell you, I never expected Warhammer and Blood Bowl to become major videogame franchises.
I also never expected FASA Studio to die.
Looks like I was wrong.

Only a matter of time before "Need for transformers" releases, a racing sim with the ability to transform into robots and run :D

There's been a huge hole in sports games since the last Mutant League. This had better fill that, thus getting me tu buy a sports themed game for the first time in 7 years.

hahahaha, awesome. Lets hope it's brutal as anything :D
@Biggie, new Space Hulk would be awesome too, hopefully I'd actually be able to play the game, I never quite got the hang of the old one. It was on 4 floppy disks, how cool is that!

Sweet! If it has all the features of the tabletop (hooligan fans, bribing the ref, etc...), then this could be a great game.

I once had a Skaven (rat) team where my RB got 2 mutations of extra long legs +2 move, sprint +1 move and something like 'Going for it' +1 move on a 4,5 or 6.
He could move 13 squares in one shot and in theory could score every turn.

BLOOD BOWL IS BECOMING A VIDEO GAME?
First Age of Reckoning, now Blood Bowl.
Thank you for decent IP titles for a change.

Even though I'd love this on PS3, I'm still waiting for a new Speedball (they could even set it in the WipEout universe).

This will definitely be better than the first video game version of Blood Bowl.
I'm interested. I may have to buy a new game for once. (I usually wait and get them used.)

I'd certainly play this game, you can bet your bottom gold piece. I used to play Warhammer a lot and never got to play Blood Bowl because the game went out of print. I'll probably get this for DS since I don't have an Xbox 360 or a PSP. I'm also wondering why this isn't coming out for PS3.

This game is right at the top of my list... i used to love Blood Bowl back in the day.. i think i probably had more fun with it than WHFP and WH40k combined.
One question though? Have there been different versions of the rules? I want to play the rules i used to play as a kid, not some updated/dumbed down rules like what happened to WH40k.
*misses old style Rogue Trader 40k and Epic40k+AdeptusTitanicus*

For those of you looking for rules, you can find the rules for the turn based version here: http://www.bloodbowlonline.com/Rules.shtml It's kind of a mix of turned based strategy with some character building similar to rpg's. I have no idea how real time mode will work.
