Sony: 'We are on track' with PS3 sales
Speaking in an earnings call, Sony CFO Nobuyuki Oneda has claimed that PS3 sales are still on track with company estimates (via
Edge). The executive admitted that the PS3 is
trailing behind other platforms, but expects the console to still hit its announced (and conservative) sales target of "10 million units."
The
spin clarification comes as Sony announced prepares for a
bad fiscal year in the games division. Sales
have taken a dip, but at least people
might get to keep their jobs.
