That looks like a boob under red light. Will buy.
Duke @ Jan 30th 2009 3:32PM
You aren't going to scratch out where I signed your yearbook are you? I would be crushed!
Will @ Jan 30th 2009 4:35PM
Not only that but he'll draw a penis on your picture in it.
David Hinkle @ Jan 30th 2009 9:39PM
It wasn't even a signature so much as it was "Bel Biv Devoe" with hearts all around it.
maduin @ Jan 30th 2009 3:35PM
"I am only a man!"
This game is going to cause some nightmares.
chispito @ Jan 31st 2009 1:32PM
How did they ever get Satan to take time out of his busy schedule to do the voice-over for that part?
KiraXD @ Jan 30th 2009 3:35PM
i will buy a wii.... just for this game...... (love these trippy ass games!)
Shagittarius @ Jan 30th 2009 3:37PM
A 2600 conversion should be coming soon.
SirFishouse @ Jan 30th 2009 11:19PM
I am totally with you on that. I've seen no reason to buy a Wii other than for tatsunoko vs capcom. This game looks like the bomb!
Go1denchi1d @ Jan 30th 2009 3:38PM
This seems like I'll get a seizure after I play it. I want in!!!
ZaxCG2 @ Jan 31st 2009 12:18AM
2 words. Space Giraffe.
rockintom @ Jan 31st 2009 10:10AM
Might as well just watch a winamp visualizer. Space Giraffe sucked.
Alien Lord @ Jan 30th 2009 3:43PM
I think I'll pass this one by, seems to simplistic for me.
Roto13 @ Jan 30th 2009 3:45PM
Actually, that trailer made me feel less excited for this game than I was before. :P I might pick it up if it's like 500 points. (I hear there are only three levels, so that's very possible.)
Sheppy (of the Fidlious Clan of Wong) @ Jan 30th 2009 5:05PM
I've been avoiding the info basically being told by Fernando 20+ times how much this was going to roxxorz my soxxorz but I have to say, THIS?!? I don't know. Maybe if the only competition in this genre was still just Vib Ribbon, meybe. But we have Space Invaders Xtreme, Audiosurf, Beats, Rez, Lumines, etc... this just looks lazy.
SunKing @ Jan 30th 2009 3:46PM
Looks pretty hard and I'm not all that bothered about the pong style gameplay. I have to admit though that I was tapping along to the beats.
Ryan @ Jan 30th 2009 3:50PM
Your head a-splode!
DiddlyKong @ Jan 30th 2009 3:55PM
Hell yea! That trailer just sold me.
Peace.
Rhamsey @ Jan 30th 2009 3:58PM
holy crap, just watching this makes me feel like im going to have a seizure.
captainlol @ Jan 30th 2009 3:59PM
That's probably the only trailer I've ever seen that made me excited to play the game
psyborg @ Jan 30th 2009 4:01PM
Totally rad.
rbtroj @ Jan 30th 2009 4:19PM
Pfft! We had hacked Pong consoles in the mid-70s that did all this (sans 3D backdrop) and more. Yawn.
Suck it, Generation Z!!!!!
grapenutsrobot @ Jan 31st 2009 3:58PM
Congrats on missing the point entirely.
Scotty @ Jan 30th 2009 4:19PM
I'm extremely intrigued by this. I'm looking forward to it.
Josh @ Jan 30th 2009 4:21PM
I'll keep an eye on this.
Though the fact that the developers gave precedence to Joystiq instantly makes them awesome in my book.
Josh @ Jan 30th 2009 4:22PM
And no, you can't read it for yourself, but you can certainly ask me about it.
David Hinkle @ Jan 30th 2009 9:41PM
Can I check itout at my local library at least?
Josh @ Jan 31st 2009 12:44PM
NO! That would constitute "reading it for yourself", so NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
*ASK* ME ABOUT IT; DON'T TRY TO READ IT YOURSELF! IT'S FUTILE TO TRY TO READ IT YOURSELF! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!
@tomic @ Jan 30th 2009 4:22PM
This trailer certainly paints the game in a more positive light than in the last. The game actually looks quite challenging here as opposed to the slow, simplistic gameplay shown in the last trailer. They seem to be more creative with the visuals here too.
Color me interested.
ZombiePikmin @ Jan 30th 2009 4:24PM
. . . .Neat
milan @ Jan 30th 2009 4:30PM
Awesome, we need more games in the vein of Frequency, Amplitude, and even Synaesthete (ie: the genre of musical electro-color). I'm excited!
And also funny to see the closer Joystiq affiliation tying in already...
Hi David!
David Hinkle @ Jan 30th 2009 9:41PM
*waves*
zombienutz @ Jan 30th 2009 5:01PM
Ok. I am hooked. I have never downloading anything for my Wii, and have not turned it on in awhile, but I will pick this up.
David Hinkle @ Jan 30th 2009 9:42PM
Might I suggest World of Goo?
http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2008/10/14/wii-fanboy-review-world-of-goo/
zombienutz @ Jan 30th 2009 9:50PM
People keep telling me to pick that up. I was going to buy it for my PC, but I here it is better for the Wii.
Naturestee @ Jan 30th 2009 7:35PM
I'm really spacey and ill with a fever and that totally hypnotized me. Whoa. I really like the WiiWare tetris+techno music game, I forget the name, and this looks like it'll be fun too. I like rhythm games that don't involve me pretending to play a plastic instrument.
Fakeplasticball @ Jan 30th 2009 9:04PM
The +25, +26, +27... are in the way of seeing the beats. The concept is excellent but they should worry about how legible the beats are. This need more contrast.
btw i'd buy it
ZaxCG2 @ Jan 31st 2009 12:20AM
I really would love this. I'm a big fan of beat games and an even BIGGER fan of low tech music.
But I just know I'll be throwing my controller down in frustration after realizing how much I suck at it.
Chibay @ Jan 31st 2009 7:06AM
hehehe cool developer name Gaijin, the next one will be Guai Lou XD
Doug @ Jan 31st 2009 7:23PM
Is it D-Pad or Wiimote controls. Either way, I'm sold.
Grant @ Jan 31st 2009 8:26PM
lol.
what did i just watch?
glad there was a video and not just screens, cause this would probably look retarded if you couldn't see it in action.
harvsorrow @ Feb 1st 2009 1:06AM
I never knew I had epilepsy.....
......until now.
Wing Zero @ Feb 1st 2009 4:19PM
i might get it
colosher @ Apr 14th 2009 2:37AM
this pong wanna be clone could start the next revolution of gaming
you could never know
nice song btw
