Snikt! X-Men Origins: Wolverine CG trailer

"How come I can't ever just grab a guy and rip him in half?" When X-Men Origins: Wolverine Project Lead, Dan Vondrak, asked why Wolverine had been gimped in every other game he starred in, we got the sneaking suspicion that someone finally "got it." Wolverine is a badass, and this debut CG trailer slowly makes us believe that maybe, just maybe, he will finally get the game we all know he deserves. Check out the trailer after the break.

I love Wolverine. He's my favorite X-Man.

Let's hope this movie will turn out to be a little more than just a generic Hollywood popcorn action movie.

i hope deadpools face gets fucked up or at least he puts on the mask, because a wisecracking pretty boy is not who he is

wait, is deadpool supposed to be in this? i dont want deadpool in another characters movie/game though. not enough people understand him in order to give him the justice he deserves without an origin story. he and joker are the only two i can think of who can pass the 4th wall. i want deadpool looking at the screen, and commenting on how crazy something is in the game. or humming with the music.

GEEEEEEEEZ this looks like the real damn movie.......I wonder how much they spent on the CGI for this game......pre-rendered or not its fuckin beautiful.......

That bit where he bursts out of the tank has to be some of the best CG I've seen this side of hollywood.

Wait a second, is that me in the trailer? The dude with the swords 20 seconds into it? Sweet! I knew my old buddy Wolverine wouldn't forget me! Even if he cut my head off....or when I shot him point blank in the face.....or when I blew him up with a car bomb...or when....you know what that's not the point. The point is, I hope they don't screw me over like they did Cyclops! Heh Heh...and he REALLY got screwed over.

Hold on a sec, if Wolvie can heal himself to the extent of being immortal, what was the point of giving him an extra strong metal skeleton?

Well, Wolverine may be able to heal, but if his body is sliced up into pieces then he can be separated and be left unable to heal. With the adamantium his body can't be separated.

Aside from that, at the time the Canadian Military didn't know that he could heal from 'anything'. At least in the comics.

because metal makes it easier to cut things. He wouldnt be so great in a fight if his claw bones broke every couple of hits

What else is he going to use to kill people? Harsh language?

WTF!?!? Canada has a militiary...When did Canada get a military? Oh, that must be backstory from the comic book I didn't read. Ok, Canada can have a military then.

According to a buddy of mine who works for one of Activision's testing firms, this game does indeed finally do Wolverine some justice.

The game may very well be better than the movie.
