RIP: "New games this week" -- and welcome to Now Playing! This is our brand new weekly releases post featuring not just retail releases, but ALL playable content released this week. Downloadable games? Check! Demos? Uh-huh. DLC releases? You betcha! Blu-ray movies?
So! We've divided the release list by platform (don't worry, you can still view the list in its entirety), and each platform has its own, relevant content sections. You can easily jump to individual platform lists by using the table of contents above -- or, you can scroll through the entire list. We'll be updating the sections all week long as new content is released, so check back at any time for updates by following the "Now Playing!" link in the right rail:
Note: Currently, the release list formatting is bare bones, but we'll be updating with a snazzier look in the coming days (at the least, next week!). Please feel free to drop your thoughts about and suggestions for the new weekly releases format in the comments section -- we'll be reading!

Additionally, the latest updates will be marked with a blinking "NEW" along the right-hand edge, so you can locate them quickly. And yes, we'll be adding "PAL" and "JPN" releases as soon as possible!
Normally, instead of a skippable explanation, we'll preface the release list with invaluable editorial insight pertaining to the highlights of the week. For an example, peep what Justin McElroy would have written (had I not hijacked this post):
"The best bang for your buck this week probably isn't the new Shadow Assassins game for Wii (pictured at top), if we've learned anything from ... well, from all the other Tenchu games. But we just couldn't bring ourselves to honor a re-release like Burnout with an image. But know that, secretly, Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box (PC) is the true retail highlight of the week.
"There are good games coming this month, we swear. Just be happy "I've Got You Babe" wasn't the first thing you heard on your radio this morning, if you know what we're saying."
