The first time a monster snuck up on me in the silence of a vacuum it scared the bejesus out of me. I hope they can duplicate that feeling on the Wii.

Oh, man. This shit is hilarious!
The Wii version will be vastly inferior.
The sad thing is, people will actually buy it.

Way to milk your franchise, EA. But I guess you already started doing that with that shitty DLC. Weapon and armor skins? Seriously? SKINS? Whoop-dee-fucking-doo.

There probably won't be DLC on the Wii version; if that's the case, will you like it? :)

As for 'milking franchises', that's EA's core expertise, is it not? And you know, Wii owners like mys'elf would probably be entirely happy for them to 'milk' a few more quality franchises on Wii. After all, those same franchises have already been 'milked' on PS3/60 and I don't see any difference...

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I've always wanted to see games like MGS 4 and Gears Of War 2 on the Wii. That would be awesome!

Enjoy the shovelware, kid.

Good job EA, KUDOS. Finally a huge step foward!!
They already have a tech that can deliver graphics as close the Xbox360/Ps3 versions. Need for Speed: Pro Street and Skate It, for example have great graphics as the counterparts. Of course, they need to fix some isuess that appear when they port directly from the next-gen engine to Wii. If they do it, the game will be amazing and this will be a standard for the next EA hardcore AAA games on Wii.

Only of they make it ground-up for Wii. Dead Rising is proof that bastardising a game engine however successful originally, doesn't work unless serious time and resources are put into it.

Obviously, Unreal, Crytek, Quantum3 engines etc are built to be available commercially and versatile, but whatever in hell Dead Space runs on will no doubt be ridiculously more complex to port to a weaker system. Unless, of course, it is any of the above.

In any case, a ground-up build is the only way this is becoming a critical success.

This is fantastic!

I'm hoping the port doesn't suffer as much as the Dead Rising one.

To all those fools graphics-nerds: A game like Silent Hill [The first one] is one of the scariest games ever. I, personally, think the first SH is much more scarier than SH4 or the recent Resident Evils. Why? It's not the graphics, it's the atmosphere, and the atmosphere depende uniquly on the developers' abilities.

I'm actually shocked with this announcement. I want to play it.

Never played the original, as I don't buy non-nintendo consoles and I couldn't find the PC version. I've read great things about it though, so I can't wait yo play it with the best controls on the market.
