I think the game looks great... but does anyone feel the Scarab is like 3-4 times too small? I'd feel much evil if I could stomp on Marines without worrying if they can pair up and flip me over. I know RTS games tend to not have scale proportions, but it's a Scarab!

The Scarab is meant to be smaller, it's not the same Scarab. This scarab is also one of the ones that have humanoid pilots, as opposed to Lekgolo worms (the little worms that make up Hunters) which pilot the Halo 3 ones.
The Scarabs you see in Halo Wars are repurposed mining equipment. Only in Halo 3 do you see a fully militarised Covenant in terms of build purpose for their equipment.
If you do a bit of wikipedia research on the phantom and the scarab you'll see what I mean.

The demo is going to be the deciding factor for me. If it's good I'm probably going to get it on release day. I haven't played an RTS since WarCraft 3.
Even though I want the Mythic Map Pack I'm not willing to shill out $80 for the collector's edition just to have it. I'm going to wait for it's release on the marketplace.

I'm not an RTS game kind of guy... but after I played the demo for Halo Wars.. I was hooked.. it is extremely fun and the game looks awesome.
