Capcom plans on supporting PlayStation Home in a big way. Famitsu has revealed brand new Home content based on Capcom's upcoming games, Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5. SFIV will receive a post-release patch that will allow players to meet in Home and then jump directly into a Street Fighter match.
In addition to game launching, Capcom will sell costumes to wear in the Home world. This isn't the first time Capcom has released Street Fighter costume DLC on a PlayStation system -- LittleBigPlanet also features a handful of premium costumes for purchase.
Capcom is also developing a Resident Evil 5 game space, which looks remarkably like the game's opening level. Here, players will be able to congregate and participate in various RE-themed events. We're not sure if those events will involve eating other Home users alive, but we hope so.
[Thanks, Copland!]

With little to no fanfare over Home since its (so-called) release in late December it's good to see something new. I haven't bothered logging in since the new Red Bull area and didn't really plan on getting back in until the new EA space launched but the RE5 space looks like fun.
Still wondering where the Killzone 2 area is. Maybe they'll reveal more later this month. You would think they'd want to milk the game's release for everything they had and would already have a KZ2 space in play right now.

My fantasies of dressing up as Chun Li and sitting down on the floor in front of a guy sitting on a raised platform and nodding are closer to being realized

It's unfortunate you can't run around GTA style in Home. It would have been interesting to pick fights with other themed SFIV characters, only to be warped into the game to actually fight.
It would have been fun to be in the RE5 themed space and shoot at zombie bots with someone...then maybe warped into the game for some co-op.
Instead it seems to be more to the effect of:
Sony: Look at this!
Consumer: Cool...now what.
Sony: Well...keep looking at the coolness! It's awesome!
Consumer...I don't get it.
Sony: Why not? LOOOOOK at i..
Consumer: I'm out.

Aside from jumping into a SFII game like that, I still think in general it would kick ass if people could settle their fights with each other in Home. Then the camera would pan in for each player and a voice would go "FIGHT-O!" *cue Mortal-Kombat-type music*

Like the zombies in RE5, Home is dead to me.
I know that was horrible... But it needed to be said.

Capcom don't care if you keep playing it. Once you've paid your money for it, they forget you exist, until it's time to take your money again.
