With the game finally out in Japan on the 19th and North America on the 24th, we'll finally know the answer to the question of whether the Dead Rising Wii remake idea was worthwhile, or if the mad science experiment of reanimating the 360 game created a monster.
Dead Rising: Chop Till the Special Forces Show Up
9
The Special Forces soldiers from Dead Rising are making a return appearance in the Wii remake Chop Till You Drop, storming the Willamette Mall to, basically, shoot at Frank West and take his pants. Well, it's more complicated than that, but as the new screens illustrate, that is what happens. And even though they aren't zombies, Frank seems perfectly happy to shoot them right back and take their pants guns.

I'm not joking, that screenshot looks like a really bad PS2 game.
I get more and more put off of Dead Rising Wii with every passing post.

Yeah this game looks worse and worse with every shot, I hope Capcom doesn't make a new Bad port of Lost Planet on wii.
BTW isn't the wii suppose to be stronger than the original Xbox? I haven't seen a wii game that exceeds Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast yet.

I know what you mean. This does not look very good.
Just look at that! Where the heck are Frank's arms? It looks like his arm is cut off at the elbow in that screenshot (screenshot 3 too).
Probably Capcom has to par down the graphics in order to keep the number of enemies on screen to a reasonably large amount.

Hopefully the lower graphics means they added more zombies!
I don't care if it looks like an N64 game if it plays the way it should.
