Fan-made Street Fighter IV ads are too cool for magazines

Putting their artistic talents to use, NeoGAF members have been hard at work creating fan-made Street Fighter IV magazine-style ads. Y'know, just in case Prince Capcom decides to swing by the forums and sweep one off its digital feet and into the magazines. Most (if not all) of the ad mock-ups are professionally crafted, with our favorites coming from the "What Are You Fighting IV?" series. You can view all the ads, including the not-so-good attempts, over on the GAF forums.

Everyone should check out Milk's stuff on page 31. Especially love the "We got next" one.

LOVE the We Got Next ad. Again, if this guy isn't in marketing and/or advertising he should be. Simply amazing. Simple, succinct and definitely catering to the 30-somethings (like me) that remembers lining up at the mall's arcade for a shot at getting beat by an 11 year old.

Some of them were good but the four ads with Balrog, Fei Long, Chun Li and Rose were by far the best with a perfect mix of style and substance. The quotes represented each character flawlessly and I appreciated the time and effort it must've taken to find just the right quote for just the right character.

Amazing. Whoever did this has a great future in marketing and/or advertising.

I wasn't particularly fond of the What Are You Fighting IV posters. Kind of basic. Dhalsim looks like he's crapping ink swatches.
