Just not fair usingcreated characters to take on SuperMan in the boss fight.
Unless there is a chain quest for "Acquiring the Kryptonite."

Do want although I feel very disappointed of DC after reading Final Crisis (I hope you haven’t read it yet Dark Wayne).Dc also needs to do the MK vs DC comic I mean the story is way better than the one used in JLA/Avengers. (I know this isn’t comic continuum).

About the game it looks awesome but is that a rubber hero I spot in the first screen? Lesson from Freedom Force no one ever wants to do a rubber character especially a chubby one all the guys playing these sorts of games picture themselves as Vegeta or Superman on roids.

final crisis was awful, but Batman RIP was even worse. As i've said on the Jpag, every issue was like a heroin fueled mess. Grant Morrison can suck my batdick

although Mr Esc, i cant agree with you about the not wanting to be a rubber character. A plastic man game would probably be loads better than a regular superman game

I'm actually on the Punisher/Hulk/Wolverine part.

The reason why the plastic/rubber hero sucks is that it stats are too low, nobody wants to pic themselves as morbidly obese. The only way I see being a rubber man being fun is that if they gave it the characteristics of rubber and with that I mean shape-shifting and a way to jump or bounce through the city. Then it would be fun.

***Spoiler***

About Batman Rip I know mayor *facepalm there not to mention it was released next with Final Crisis,WTH with that? They killed Batman twice, not dead in RIP tho'.

pretty sweet. looking forward to comiccon this weekend. I hope the customization leave a lot of room to be creative. I want to make Hal Jordan pre green lantern, and sure, why not, pre pilot. I want to his super powers to be chain smoking and making sexist remarks.

The guy in red and black (first picture) has a bad case of 'muffin butt'.

Not to be confused with a 'muffin top'.

It's also on PC. And it's on PS3/PC because Sony Online Entertainment is developing/publishing it.

That guy has no good excuse for not bringing this to Macs. His defense gets a big thumbs down from me.

"I'm not sure, 'cause we're based off the Unreal Engine and I'm not sure of Unreal's status on Mac right now. So we don't have any plans right now."

Really? That's it?

@Stix Remix It's possible that he's paraphrasing, "It would take a ton of work that we're not even sure we can do and the install base of OSX gamers vs PC gamers makes it something not worth our time. Go get Bootcamp."

@FFXIIIAngelVanille No, they have a deal with DC to use their IP in an MMO. It's a partnership. Note: MK vs DC Universe -- Sony does not own Midway (dev/pub of MK vs DC) and Midway doesn't own the DC Universe license, it was a partnership.

@Benjamin Gilbert: Bootcamp comes standard now. :P I do realize it would take some time and work (how much or how little, I don't know), though I think the producer should've given a more fleshed out response if giving one at all.

Most companies wouldn't respond at all or simply say, "We have no plans to release this for Mac." The fact that he did respond, and then attributed his response to a weak argument, is pretty disappointing.

What he really meant to say was that Macs don't count as a platform, because even PC geeks look down on Mac geeks.Maybe he just has an irrational hatred for all things Mac. I know I do.

You want MOAR exclusives? Greedy scum...
But to answer your question, no SOE doesn't own the rights, Marvel does. But SOE is publishing it, so why would they make a 360 version. Just like GoWar, Epic makes it, but M$ publishes it, and why would they hand over a game to the competitor?

It's only on PS3 because Sony Online Entertainment is making the game. No they do not own the right to the entire DC Universe. The title of this game is DC Universe Online.

Game_playa, were you trying to be funny when you said Marvel owns the rights?

His gamer cred just shot up over 9e3 just for implying that he roms CT and FFT on the go with his bad; in the know; and evidently, gaming classic discerning self. Oh but with a touch of modern as well.
