Lost & Damned to add new hip-hop music, TV content and commercials

Per our conversation with Rockstar Games and information gathered from a recent Associated Press report, we've learned that Grand Theft Auto IV's The Lost & Damned downloadable content will feature new music, television programming (including a new season of Republican Space Rangers!) and radio commercials.

Flexmaster Flex, along with a few other artists, will be featured in Lost & Damned. We're also told that Trevor Tamerri Smith, Jr. (aka Busta Rhymes) will exclusively debut his latest track, "Conglomerate" in the DLC. We're sure the Busta news would be more interesting if we still lived in 1996, but just go with it. All-new songs (and presumably new commercials) will be added to five of the in-game radio stations and, as with all GTA IV-featured music, players can "tag" each song for purchase through iTunes. Woo-ha!

its strange that you make fun of the busta rhymes song when his new single is played around the fucking clock in new york. plus, its not like its debuting on gta, the song has been out for a while now

I'm *dying* for a game to integrate SiriusXM streaming. What would be better than 100+ music/talk channels? I commend publishers for breaking new artists and introducing me to new tracks, but that's essentially what SiriXM does, and I don't have to rely on someone else to pick a finite, repetitive playlist. Most of the time I'm listening to SiriXM on my iPhone while driving around Liberty City with the game music muted.

This is getting fucking ridiculous. Im 17. Today's youth (ie game buyers, the under 40 but older than 12 crowd) seems to think whatever is on MTV or on the radio all the time is good. And Rockstar, awesome developer, is not stupid. Here they come to cash in on the gay hip hop craze. Its not even Busta Luda Jay-Z shit, good shit. I bet theyll put in Lil Wayne or Souja Boy.....

Busta is still one of the hottest rappers out so understand and respect real hip hop!!. Also the talk radio is the best part of the whole radio stations in this game. "how bout i put your *******ng face in the ******g hotdog water".!!! lolo the funniest one!!
