If there's one complaint we hear about the Wii more than any other, it's that the Wii Remote and Nunchuk are just too big for most hands. Seriously, who does Nintendo think they're marketing these things for? It's nearly impossible to stretch our average-size hands around the vast expanses of white plastic.
If you are one of the millions whose Wii experience is ruined by the comically oversized controllers, we encourage you to seek a solution in DHRECK's "Mini-mote" mod, which uses custom shells to shrink down the controllers to fun size. It's more attractive, more useful, and less likely to attract stray Woody Harrelsons than his previous "Hemp-Mote" mod, at least!
The extremely detailed guide to taking apart and rebuilding the Wiimote and Nunchuk is intended to help people get started with their own projects. The "Mini-mote" and associated Nunchuk are just a tiny proof of concept.

You just don't have enough to cover on the Wii, so you have to make up some stupid controversy. Seriously, I've never heard a single person complain about the size of the Wiimote or Nunchuk.
Did you get paid to write this?

It's obvious he's being sarcastic. One of the biggest complainst about the Wiimote (aside from the hard-to-reach 1 and 2 buttons) is that the controllers are too small, and here we have someone making the controllers EVEN SMALLER.
So it's just a humorous way to say that the concept is a little ridiculous.

the wiimote needs to be shorter, so you don't ruin your thumbs jumping from A button to dpad-Up. The shape in your hands is great, though.

the home button is far too easy to knock mid game when using the A button..
It's not really all that sensitive.. (where that 'motion plus' comes in..)
the wire between the mote & nunchuck..
the speaker could of been bigger & deeper so not to sound so abrupt & tinny..
the Wiimote drains the battery even when it's not 'on'..

For Mazrael's last comment, that happens with all chargeable batteries. And I think your Wiimote is defective if you use regular AA's and it still doesn't hold a charge.
Also, I was surprised by how small the remote looked when I first took it out of the box.

I don't know why, but I find "useless" mods like this to be the most interesting.
